Weird Grammar

Why do you think the guys at Conte Piete had such a weird language

well there were sorta like an outcasted tribe….being away from civilization they learned only basic language, and being in a basic place, they dont need a high vocabulary…plus its funny as hell to see them say "Rally ho!!" ahhaahha gets me everytime…:D

hahhahaha yea!!!! oh my friend and i would make fun of this snobby chick at shool… we would say, "ar there goes da Pintey Tits…" it was funny as hell….she had no idea what we where talking about…..:D 😀 😀

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">Looking at the way they said some things, I think their accent is based on the Scottish accent. If you listen to a scottish person talking, you might be able to hear some similarities in how they talk to how the dwarves speak.

(no offence intended to anyone in this post. Except Scottish people. ;)) j/k

It’s Scottish, no doubt. It’s sometimes hard to follow, but they are the coolest ppl in the game.

i can actually understand all of their words except maybe the word they say in the place of " i know"

they say "I ken"
and "ken" is dutch for "know"
so maybe they mixed some words up in it to

Yeah i always thought that it sound kinda scottish (did i spell that right…..oh well) but whatever it is its funny as hell

The langage they use is Scottish with a few twists…

And ‘ken’ is actually used by Scots for ‘know’ as well. Undeniable proof.

Before this thread is closed (and it definitely should be closed, being so old) I just have to get in (since nobody else ever did) that the whole thing with the dwarves actually dates way back to one of the older FF games, I think FFIV. That game also had the dwarves and their whole language / greeting system.
