Newest E3 info says that FF11 wont be released until, "Sometime in the first half of 2003." Does it take a year to set everything up over here? I highly doubt Ill be able to wait that long for that game. How bout you?

I guess it does take that long to set everything up since it ain’t comin’ out for almost a year, supposing what you said was true, so there must be a lot to be done. I can wait, though since I am not too excited about the game.

I think translating the game from Japanese into American, is taking a long time, but then again, Square could just have translated it, while working on the Japanese version.

Last year I read that our friends a Squaresoft were supposedly releasing both versions simultaneously this summer…which would make more sense. I’d hate to be jumped by some over-powered japanese barbarian when I bring my poor, defenseless little level 1 character into action. Unless they split up the worlds..
I dunno. The more I hear about FFXI the more I can picture it being just like any other mediocre MMORPG out there today.

It probaly means that we have to wait at least 6 long months to get it over seas into Europe x_X and then our network needs to be set up…. so… whee… looks like It won’t be anytime soon for Europe x_x

Ya Tekno you got a point there, it will take forever, if even at all, to get over to Europe. But then again you live in Amsterdam, so you shouldnt be complaining at all 😀 . At least the new Zelda game looks interesting. Warcraft III is also coming out, which should be able to hold me over to.
