Question about Northern Crater

I’m at the point in the game where i can reach northern crater (on the 3rd disk), but I want to destroy Ruby and Emerald Weapon before i do so, and without guides. I know that there’s high AP-giving creatures in the NC.

But here’s my question: Once you climb down into the crater and stuff, can you get back out when you want/need to?

because i want to grow my materia so i can beat the weapons. And btw, the sunken airship Gelinka doesnt help me, i kill those monsters and 5 hits anyway (characters. all around level 60, 61 is highest) and they only give 300 AP.

if you cant answer the first question, does anyone know where i can get high AP levels? o.9 i cant find any

Yes.. you can get back out…

And… in the Northern Crater, there are things called "Movers"… they’re pretty rare…

They give 2400 AP… 7200 with a Triple Growth on! :O

Hi ^_^. If you vs like 3 Movers at once, well do the math. 7200 x 3 would 21 600 AP for one battle! After 3 battles, you’ve gained more AP than you do against Emerald Weapon. But they don’t give any EXP.

*spoiler* (I think)
first, to get out of northern crater you go to the first cave and climb up the rough section on the wall *(note) it wont show up as a ladder if you press select but its there* second, there are creatures called Magic Pots that also give you enormous AP, at the expense of an elixer (nothing the duplicate item trick cant solve!:D ).

Well the movers always show up in groups of three so basically each and every time u fight them u get 2400 AP. Magic pots rarely come in groups of three, more often in groups of two or alone.

I cant seem to find movers anywhere. I’ve seen the magic pots though, they give 1000 AP each. But i cant find the movers, are they in a certian area?
