MY Writing: Title – Forgotten

You went away before I could do
everything that i set to prove to you
i can’t believe the darkness I have entered
i look down the path, it looks haunted
I see dark shadows, each one a bad thing of the past
from dying forgotten, to being chosen last
I see the bed from I where i used to wake
to the smiles my parents used to fake
i look at my greatest fear
i am shouting, no one can hear
i scream from the top of my voice
but again, it looks like I’m not their choice

I see her walk across the street
I thought she was different, but now she cannot see me
what have I done now? What did I do?
The things I would do now for a "hello" from you
The first day I saw you, I thought you was the one
I planned to have children, a daughter and a son
I remember the day I lost my job
i took a painkiller, but then again I took a lot
I then fell down and everything went black
I opened my eyes, and saw your suitcase packed
I got up and asked where you was going
You ignored me and started walking
You was crying as you stormed outside
I looked out of the window and saw my best friend in the drive
he was meant to be my friend, now hes on her side
I decided to go after her and find out why she lied

I caught up with her, she stood looking sad
she was stood with my friend, i was getting mad
a car pulled in and they pulled out a box
my girl was again crying, this time a lot
she had a rose in her hand, a tear shed
a priest stood there and from the book he read
i wasn’t really listening, but i saw her cry
she was shouting "Why? Why? Why?"
She threw the rose down and turned her back
it was just then i noticed, shes wearing all black
I walked to where she was stood, and looked at the grave
Rest in Piece, in the memory of my name
