I have decided to open a thread bout Silent Hill 2……Here we can talk bout out theorys of the game :p

I never played silent hill2 is it any good? I saw screens looks alot like resident evil does it have the same controls? What are the weapons you can get?

Yeah silent Hill 2 is a VERY good game
It is waaaaay better than RE, and is TOTALLY different
You can get…..Knife, Handgun, shotgun, Rifel, chainsaw…cant think of anymore

SH2 is a very great game. I rented it, and damn, it was awesome. It is scary at some times, but the idea of legs toppled on other legs for a monster got a bit…annoying. But the controls are nice, I think the flashlight is a little more dim in this one than the first. The controls aren’t really similar to RE< if, at all. I will definitely need to get this game.

Which one do you prefer SH1 or SH2?

UMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM…….DAMN bloody hell I can’t decide, because SH1 was were it started but SH2 picked up from SH1. Damn can’t decide.

Well, because I havn’t completed SH2 yet, I’ll say SH1, although I bet SH2 will pass it, but we’ll see.

The thing is about SH1 is all the mysterys of the game that made it eerie and creepy. Like those little see through ghosts around the school, that you could never hurt, but they could never hurt you either, and after awhile, they’d dissapear. Scared the hell outta me. o.o;;

And you know what else scared the hell out of me? The music. Like that maniac piano banging when you were in the courtyard of the school. *Shivers at the thought*

The only thing I can’t really enjoy of SH2 is the monsters…really, Konami must’ve been smoking something when they decided to topple a pair of legs on another pair and call it a monster.

So, for right now, Sh1…yeah.

I really like the chracters in SH2 and the storyline.
And the Monsters scared me a little.
But in SH1 the monsters didn’t scare me one bit, and the characters were too boring. 🙂

OK i’ll reply, I thought that SH1 had excellent characters and monsters. SH2 would be nothing with out SH1 setting the scene.

Anyway, I’ll tell you what I have agains those leg creatures in SH2. Well, can you tell me what’s so good about them? They’re legs toppled on another pair of legs, and Konami decides to call it a monster. That’s kind of…lame. Anyway, my theory is that the gaming industry has been smokin’ cheap dope, and passing it onto other gaming industries. In this result, Microsoft created the XBox. Please take this theory into top concideration.
