There are two ways to get them, first, on Long Horn Island, which is the island just North of Galbadia, you will find a turltle enemy called Adamantose who will drop them when you beat them. They apear on the shore in pairs (rarely).
Or you can refine the Minotar card (poss the Sacred card) for 10 of them.

Some of the GF cards can be refined to get Admantine.The Bigger Brothers card can be refined for Admantine.

DON’T MUG the Adamantoise or you won’t get Adamantines from the Adamantoice. You can get Adamantines from a L20+ Adamantoise, although you are only certain to get one at L30+.
And it’s probably too late now, but you can Mug one from BGH251F2 when you fight it in FH. 😉
