How did the Black Mage Village get to be built so friggin’ fast? Was the village already there or did they build it? If the latter, then Brahne must have been building these things for years and years.
It might only be a minor matter in the game, but how did it happen?
Were black mages at one time a great race upon Gaia an Brahne was just bringing them back? If so, was this village their capitol?

Well, they have strong powers, they could make that village in an instant. Plus, they said they’ve lived there for 100s of years.

Cloud, when did they ever say that they had lived there for hundreds of years? I’m going on my third completion of the game, and I’ve never seen them say that.
I know that they said that it was hard at first, but they never, that I’ve seen, actually stated how long that they had actually been there.
Plus, seeing as they are black mages, they don’t really have the capability to create only to destroy with their magic. Remember how they killed all those people with Magic? That’s just speculation, but it seems logical to me.
