I need real life sketches for my sketch book in my art class, so I decided to sketch Natalie here. I need to look up the pic I drew from later, but I hope the sketch is decent enough that you can tell its her. 🙂

Joker, right-click on the link and select "copy shortcut". Then paste in into a new browser window and press enter 😉

That’s pretty good, Robert 🙂 I don’t know what Natalie Imbruglia looks like that well, I wouldn’t have known it was her if you wouldn’t have said so o_O; But the drawing looks human and female, so it’s all good ;D

Overall, it’s really good, but some parts are obviously more "consistent" than others. The eyes look good. The whole face looks really good, actually, but the chin looks a bit too manly-ish.

I like it, Kayin, but to me it doesn’t really look like her. Great though ^_^.

sephirothff7, her hair IS weird

Kayin this is very good, you should do more drawings from real pictures, you never know, you might pick up on how things should be, learn a little bit about lighting, etc…it’ll help you improve, for sure! Studies prove this sort of thing.

It’s very good, looks a good deal like the subject, etc. Your pencil tones also vary pretty nicely, it’s very well executed over all…

How long did it take you, and how big was it originally?

It was your average sketch pad, a little over printing paper size. It took me a couple of days, and her hair looks weird because she purposely had it all messy and screwed up in the pic.

I wish she had nice pics of her in long hair that was a decent size. 🙁

looks pretty realistic. nice. does anyone else think the drawing also looks kinda like Angelina Jolie, minus the long hair? It looks like her to me.
