Main Characters?!!!

Im pretty upset about this. Whatever happened to good old main characters like Cloud Strife or Squall Leonheart? Im not takling about the story. Its their strenghth! Zidane- pretty cool guy(as a person) but he has no magic, dosent do all that much damage, and his Trance is just plain WEAK. Eiko or Vivi can deal out at least 2x the amount of damage he can when the damage barrier kicks in. Tidus- Tidus is even worse. I mean we go from Cloud and Squall that can do everything and are really strong to Tidus that, well……….CANT DO ANYTHING. He is a sword user, but Auron beats him by far in that category. He has some Time magic, but that dosent really dosent help you that much. And here is the really sad thing- if you use him and Yuna equally, then Yunas HP will start to exceed his. This seriously upsets me. Tidus is a male sword user/physical-type person, and Yuna is a female White mage summoner. Am I the only one that sees something wrong with this picture? Well anyways, I just hope that FFXII has a decent main character.

I do have Yuna’s attack up to MAX while Tidus can’t really do anywhere close to hers.

(Tidus runs up to about 30,000. Yuna can go up to 99,999) ^_^

erm… Tidus can learn Black Magic… just get him over to Lulu’s grid… o_O

My Tidus has Ultima, -agas, Death, Bio and such…

So, really.. that statement where he has no magic, and just a sword, it’s pretty much false o_o..

Yeah well I wasnt refering to other parts of the grid. Just the ones they start out in. Still though hes weak no matter how you slice it.

Well, I kind of agree… with Zidane it was all about training. I trained him up during my round of FF9, got his skill level (ie. his Thievery) up so that he could do quad-9 damage. Get his level up, give him the Ultima Weapon, and he’s a darn powerful fighter.

True, it took a lot of work to get him there… so that’s where I’d have to agree with you that he was weaker than the magic-users.

My thoughts, anyway. 🙂
