Longest Time Spent In One Sitting

Question!

What has been the longest time you have spent in one sitting on a game, I have managed a whole day on FF 9 but felt very tired and poorly afterwards.

I think 8-9 hours playing FF9… that was brutal… my thumbs were all blistered afterwards..

i was playing BOF4 not that late at night…well anyways i finnally got to the final boss and by the time i beat him it was past 3:00AM. 😮

I first played FF8 from I think 4.30 in the afternoon and I eventually turned it off at around….5am. Thats almost 12 hours, I just got so into it and kept playing. I could have gone on for longer but I said to myself "wel it is 5am, you better get some sleep" so I did and woke up and continued playing it some more.

On summer vacation, i played Super Mario Brother’s Three for about a week…a few minor breaks, and some nights I went to sleep, but not many. Anyway, it was fun..

A mate of mine came over at 5pm one day to see me playing Breath of Fire IV. It was 9pm when I finally got to the final boss, and it was about 11pm (no kidding) by the time I’d finally beaten the final boss first time through. That’s six hours-ish. It helped that I was talking things over with my mate during that battle, otherwise I’d have fallen asleep…

26 hours straight in one weeksend on FF6. 2 meals, 4 toilet breaks, no deviation. 😀

i played GTA3 for 2 weeks…thats the only game i played. but, it was like, a couple of hours a day…not at once, but like 30 mins here and there

I think I have spent about 6 hours on FF8, i think thats the longest.

Hmmm…I think my record has been 1 hour.
I take my gaming in small portions…hehehe

lol, one time when I was a kid, I went over to my friends house and we played Goldeneye 007 for like 15 hours straight. My thumbs were blistered afterwards.:D

Oh about 2 summers ago I was playing Tribes and i started at about 10:30 AM in the morning and I stopped playing it about 4 PM the next day. I made the usual breaks but no sleep breaks. I slepted for almost 20 hours afterwards:notgood:

No-one lives forever for ’bout 8 hours straight

It sucks however cause after the 8 hours i was so sick of it i never played it again…

I wonder what the world record is. And I cant get my damn sig to work, can anyone help?

Just rechecked my sig attributes and all is fine. That Sig guide in the forum was very helpful.

I can’t play a game alone for more than 2-3 hrs. but with multiplayer games like Goldeneye and stuff, we can go on all day!

Well i don’t know about a world record but the school record that i go to is 65 hours give or take.

<font color=red face="comic sans ms">When I first got FF8, for a while I played it non-stop for a few days. I’ve played from about 8am until about 11pm in one day before (about 15 hours). I don’t think I could ever do that again though, it gave me a bad headache… 😉

Once I played FFT for 24 hours, fell asleep for about 8 with it on and the controller in my hand, and then started when I awoke for about 7.

my longest is nothing big,about 7 hours straight playin smackdown! for the ps1,lol,if i like a game i usually just play for bout 4 hours a day on it

The longest i’ve played straight is 24 hours, with eating while i’m playing and going to the toilet when needed.
The game was Final Fantasy VII.

Final Fantasy 8. 5-7 hours straight.

Well I was sittin down i got ff5 and i sat down and plays for about 31 hours but i was perpared i grabbed chips sodas and then i played and played then i beat it.

About five days. I started on FF7, finished that, started FF8, finished that. Moved on to FF9. Finshed that. By this time I’d had five breaks (four toilet, one for a packet of crisps and cup of tea). Did Resi3 and Survivor before finally falling asleep part way through Grandia. I woke up to find out I’d died.:mad: 😡 😡 😡

Since I never played FF b4, Perfect Dark-4 hrs multi………….Age of Empires 2: 5-6 hrs, or Zelda OoT or Link to the Past: 3-4 hrs.

5-6 hrs a day of Age of Empires…..thats why i’m selling me game, lol.

24 hours…everquest. Taking br breaks and such…

yeah i used to play alot i was in a clan for shifter mod called [Inq] i played for probably 2 days straight once with the usual breaks also

i guess im not like a lot of you….3-4 hours…

Erm…I think I once sat around 5-7 hours for FFVIII and around 6 hours for FFIX. Arg, my legs were practically dying.

I think around 5 hours. That is the usual when playing Starcraft. After each sitting, my legs felt wierd and my fingers, you don’t even want to know. 🙁

Probably that one day non-stop surfing like a year ago. Just sittin in the water for long times waiting for good waves.
Back to topic(that means computerworld): probably like 15 hours Grandia 2 just a lil’ while ago. If not,…cardgame FF8….

Humm, Breath of fire 2 for snes, I had to bring it back to the rental place soon, so I played it for about 24 hours strait trying to finish. Other than that about 7 hours on FF6.

I think it was 16 hours 15 minutes… FF 8 boss battle. Ate 1 jogort and 1 glass of juice. 3 wc breaks. I would have gone longer but it was 12am and when my sis woke up and turned the power off and pushed me to bed. Well, I slept to 6pm… I was mad at her when I woke up. But kinda I was glad she did, I thought I’d become blind if the battle doesn’t end soon…

Picked up Final Fantasy 8 again, had’nt played it for 2 years now…

Despite Dodgy Graphics/Sound,
Completed in 19 hours with All Characters on Lv. 100 (thanks to island closest to hell) All of the GF’s and such.
Started at 9 last night, finished a couple of hours ago.

The other day I played FF9 for about 15 hours. When I started playing, I was at the save point in Gizmalukes Grotto, just before you fight Gizmaluke on disc 1. By the time I finished I was at the very beginning of disc 3.
