But getting 250 with Eden was squeezy! 🙂
Beat that, it isnt easy.
I can easily get around 170 for Ifrit because he’s the only GF I used too much and stayed on Squall the entire time which leads to 1000 compatability(points) ^^
155 with Quezacotl.
Beat that, it isnt easy.
<font color=red face="comic sans ms">I’ve got Quezacotl to about 185 before. My finger hurt afterwards though… :p I can get Alexander and Bahamut to about 220-230, and can get Eden to 250 easily (I think virtually anyone could do that ;)). I’ve never really used the other GF’s that often at all.
I was wonder what some of your guys highest boost was with some of the harder g/fs to get high numbers with? You know with like shiva. I got up to 130 with her but thats the highest. I was just wondering. I know with Eden its like so easy to get a high boost with. You can max it out so easy with how long the cinema is.
250 with everyone i am maxed out over 2900 hours ofnplay -Jon
strange h
or not
Okay, so early in the game I use Quezacotl and Shiva and GFs like that, but later on it really just takes to long for me to bother.
…
156 With Alexander
150 with normal short summons as Shive and Ifrit
I got Eden up to 179! Whoop Whoop! Teh l33t or what?
My friend and I are going to see if we can get into the Guiness book of world records with oyur boosting numbers being higher then 200 on every GF there is… other then those that cannot boost of cause 😛
Next post we will list what we have done so far.
Ciao
The nooblet gets the benefit of the doubt, but you really should know better LR.
This is a Final Fantasy Forum; if you have signed up on this form you tend to like Final Fantasy. Am I wrong here?
Look mate, I have run several Forums my self for quite a while and I hate it when people make NEW threads just because they cannot be arsed to SEARCH!
Therefore I had searched for any thread involving ‘Boost’.
Now if you dont mind, get off my back about it its not up to you where I post only myself and those with administrative rights, and why should you care if I look for a new thread or if I make a new one? I believe that EVERYONE that had posted in this thread prior to my post hasnt been on this website since 2002.
And youre on about not reviving an old thread? There will be absolute no difference to me or anyone else posting in this old thread then there would be posting in a new one, other than the current people viewing it are able to see the old posts, pathetic posts on how amazing their boosts are…
Second flame,
I’m quite sure that taking up, what? 30 seconds of my time boosting a GF is going to prevent me from SPENDING TIME with my girlfriend. I’m sorry but I think that your post is a waist of peoples time reading, and i have to say that so is what I’m posting now. But shall I also add this as I’m sure your American you have a perfectly good reason for being pathetic, non-the-less I’ve post on this site twice now, and at GMT.
Current time now is 23:30, look at the time stamp when this was posted and you can do the maths.
Kind regards to all that love this game and actually view this post to see what the highest boost is.
So far we can get 250 on all except those which cannot boost and Quezacotl, Shiva, Ifrit and Tonberry.
To those who havent played FF7 or 8, Play 8 first reasons being that people who tend to play 7 first dont tend to like 8, however there are a few who would argue against this.
Kind regards to all
Happy gaming!!!

But i forget what was my maximum for each with and without it
Once one of you’re Guardian Forces have learned the abillity ‘Boost’; during combat, once the GF ATB bar has depleated press and hold select, you will noticed a small icon in the bottem right hand corner of you’re screen.
Now tap Square as quick as you can making sure not to press Square as the icon shows a Red Cross over it.
The Boost count starts at 75, and the aim is to reach 250, which is the max.
The GF’s which cannot learn boost are (in order and why):
Diablos – This GF’s damage is determined by the amount of Hit Points the enemy currently has. Though however, this can miss on certain bosses. ( Will edit when I remember which bosses these are 😀 )
Carbuncle – This GF casts reflect on all allies, therefore there is no damage needed to boost.
Cerberus – This GF casts Triple on all allies, therefore there is no damage needed to boost.
Cactuar – This amazing GF damage is based on it’s level. Ratio = level:damage 10:1000.
Good luck and happy Boosting!!!

So far we can get 250 on all except those which cannot boost and Quezacotl, Shiva, Ifrit and Tonberry.

Ok let’s see, if I did what you have suggested, i.e. create a new thread with a link to this one, what does that do? 1: place the new thread as unread (i.e. on the top, so its viewable) 2: (link) if in the new thread i linked this page, people would have to do 2 things, one, read my newly created thread which is the sole purpose of clicking on it in the first place, and two, click on another link so they can view some posts in which the last was in the year 2002. – That’s your idea.
now, if I post in this thread, (which may I add hadn’t had a post in 4 years) people are able to view one thread, see other peoples posts, view mine, and add their own if they wanted. Saves time, bandwidth and database space.
Common, 4 years since the last post, old it may be, but that doesn’t make a difference to creating a new thread and linking this thread to the new one.
Also if it were a policy to which we all must obey, then it should be viewable when one registers on this forum. (Which it currently is not – if it should be, then by all means correct it.)
Admins and most MODs have the power on forums to close threads (unless the software that FFShrine is currently using is out of date, which I’m quite sure its not) which would be more sensible if there really was a policy.
Once again, I’m sorry to all those whom wish to view this thread for the sole purpose off the title name and have instead had to read a load of gibberish.
If you haven’t played Final Fantasy VIII then do so!
Kind regards to all, happy gaming and don’t forget to Boost!

Yeah, actually its funny that, Siren was the GF (when i got her to 250) that had inspired me to get 250 to on all of them all those years ago.
hehe gota love it.

I have played Final Fantasy VIII, and apparently you have too, so here’s something you should be able to understand pretty well:
