Dead pepper can be found when you dig enough treasures at the Chocobo forest/lagoon. But your chocobo must be at least light blue before you can find them, if I remember it correct… I haven’t played that game for a while. Maybe I should start it again? 😀

The first place you find them is when you have a red chocobo and can climb the sides of chocobo forest. They can also be found in the lagoon when you have a drak blue chocobo and in chocobos air garden.
