For those of you who have played FF10, you know they did voice acting for some of the movie clips. Now, as I played FF9, I could almost imagine what the voices would have sounded like if they were given dubbing (would have been cool, huh?).
What voice-over actors/actresses would you choose for the characters?

For me:
Zidane: Billy Cudrup (who was Ashitaka in the english version of Princess Mononoke). Young, energetic, but also has a seriousness behind it.
Dagger: Anna Paquin or Neve Campbelle. They both have sweet, youthful voices.
Vivi: Alex Linz (he young Tarzan in Disney’s Tarzan…). Maybe a little too young-sounding, but I pictured Vivi’s voice as a young boy’s…
Steiner: Jim Cummings. Who does so many animation voices, I can’t think of where to start…
Eiko-chan: ???
Amarant: Vin Diesel. Cool, deep, no-nonsense voice. He won’t put up with anyone’s crap.
Freya: Marina Sirtis. Heck, I’m a Gargoyles fan and she did such a great voice on that series, I imagined Freya had the same warrior-like personality that Demona had.

Now most of the NPC characters I couldn’t really picture with a voice I knew:
Kuja, Beatrux, Bhrame, Zorn/Torn, Garland…

vivi: that lipnicki kid from that tom cruise movie

freya: christina ricchi

quina: hmmm h/she, i wouldnt know….anyone remember the movie, Its Pat??? well that things voice yea……
I don’t want to even want to think about that, because I know Hollywood would pick the wrong voices for the cast!!

I cant think of one for any of the others but a possibility for Quina could be Boy George. :confused: LMAO!!!!! only a handful would understand that…..HAHHAHA good one!!!!:D 😀 😀
Zidane – James Arnold Taylor (the bloke who did Tidus)
Stiener – Alan Rickman I can always imagine Stiener being played by an english man, and for some reason he’s the one that spring’s to mind.
Amarant – Has to be be played by the voice over king himself David Hayter (the bloke who voiced solid snake) he is so cool and he rocks.
Garnet – Definatly the queen … I mean Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Vivi – Hayley Joel Osment he’s an amazing actor for someone his age.
Quina – Some spaztic from the street’s, I’m not being mean to spaztic’s because that’s just tight but I can imagine Quina as a spaz speaking freak!
Freya – Yeah for some reason I can imagine Christina Ricchi as Freya.
Eiko – The woman that play’s Lisa in the Simpson’s.
