What in the hell is this play online thing? I have ffx and I heard thats a play online thing, but what is it exactly? It’s been driving me insane and I havent been able to find anything on it.

play online is a squaresoft web page. for now all it is a some strat. guides and info, but when ffXI comes out it is my understanding that playonline is going to be the gateway for the game. i hope i can post web page info on this forum. the accual site is www.playonline.com , go there for your answers.

Dark Angel: Your basically right, only just the Play Online server will host it, I don’t think that the main page will change.
Time Matrix: That was the FFIX guide, and they didn’t do it with the FFX guide because what the heck was the point in buying the guide when you had to look up all the info on the web site.
So basically, Play Online is a flash site made by Squaresoft to help registered users with the games.

the only reason wy the guide was "enhanced" was because it sucked, it didn’t tell you any secrets, it said "type in this….. at playonline.com to find out more. it was just a pain.
