Side Quest: Monkey

Were and how do i do the monkey sidequest? Btw, the monkey side quest can be found in the pc versjon of FF8.. right?

the monkey actually does say
YOUR MOM WEARS COMBAT BOOTS!
an bunches of other stewpid stuf. its funny.

Is it only on the PC?

Ok, I only remember the start of it, but It’s a start nonetheless
You know that lake near Timber? It’s called the Obel lake and their a shadow in it. That shadow can talk (yes, amazing isn’t it?)
If you walk up to the lake on the 2nd disc, 3rd or even 4th you can do the sidequest. Just walk to the center and press X untill a dialoque pops up and something happens. Throw the rock, and it will skip x number of times. If the rock skips many many times go to the forest near dollet (North from Dollet’s positsion) and find the monkey and do something with it, then… something happens to start the most boring sidequest after and your trip around the world will begin.
(Do this on disc 3, with ragnarok)

Yea its a pretty hard sidequest. He makes u run all over the place, just for nothing. There is no prize so unless its just for fun don’t bother.

if said like you the side quest is nothing need to see ?

There is some prize when you do the sidequest, but since I don’t have my guide with me I forgot what it was. But I think it was rare. Not really useful though.
