Shooters on a console…

So, what do you think bout shooter on a console. I really think they suck, cause the controls are far worse then on a PC.

Yeah its crap! The computer versions are heaps easier to control!

Well, not for me…..I used to play FPS in console….So,It’s easy to control it.:o

Id much rather use the keyboard/mouse combinations for those type of games.

Plus usually the PC versions have more to them. Just like all the Quake Mods, Extra Doom wads etc. You can’t use none of that on the console versions. I can’t beleive they made doom for GameBoy Advance. I can’t beleive people are paying for it either? Its just a watered down version of the game released for PC. I noticed alot of the graphics are missing in it (I played the rom of it just to see what it looked like)

Playing Shooters with a keyboard is just better. The controls suck for console shooters, as you can’t do the things you can do so easily on a Pc…

I perfer the good ol Keyboard and Mouse.

Me on Quake 3 online (keyboard and mouse with PC or DC)= Your already dead!
Me on Quake 3 online (with a Dreamcast Controler) = WHO THE HECK SHOT ME?

I like both. They are both easy to control, but P.C seems to be easyer when your playing it.

I’m not an avid fan of first person shooters (man, that could be taken the wrong way…) The PC versions seem easier to control as you can move smoother with the mouse than with a joypad. I haven’t seen nor played games like Quake 3 on a console, but I tried the old Doom on both PC and console, and preferred the PC versions.

I think they’re fine if you play console enough.
