This is in reguards to NON-RPG based Mini-games. If it is a mini game that is similar to the gameplay (as in catching monsters in Final Fantasy 10) it is not considered here.
I choose Not required just there for fun. Not all people enjoy racing chobo’s, or playing simon says (like in Chrono Trigger to get a certain somebody back). Not everyone is good at action or sports type games. That is the reason we buy RPG games so we can sit there and plan out every move. I see no problems with putting mini games into RPG games, but they shouldn’t be required to get weapons or armor. I could understand maybe getting alot of gil, maybe some mega potions.
