Here some new info. (at least to me) about Final fantasy XI.
This game is going to be so awesome:D 😎 😀

March 06, 2002 – Several game sites, among them IGN affiliate The Magic Box are today reporting a complete list of the available jobs in Final Fantasy XI, Square’s upcoming online RPG. This may all be assumed to stem from the upcoming issue of Japan’s Famitsu Weekly game magazine. The list numbers 15, including the six jobs already announced by Square and nine other more advanced jobs. The envelope, please:

Warrior
Thief
Monk
White Mage
Red Mage
Black Mage
Knight
Summoner
Poet
Ninja
Samurai
Gunner
Hunter
Dark Knight
Beast Rancher

We are all, of course, very excited to find out what one gets to do as a Beast Rancher, and whether Tecmo will sue for all they’re worth. Check back in the near future for further updates.

Haha, this is an old one, but let me see …. Knight must be Paladin, and Poet must be Bard. Then Hunter is probably Ranger and Beast Rancher must be Beast Master. They must not have done anything about Gunner, or just decided Hunter and Gunner would be too similar, so they may have dropped it. Did the Japanese names of the jobs translate to Poet, Knight, etc.? Or is it just that the English version people like Paladin, Bard, etc. than Knight, Hunter?
