store clerk: ok. so that was final fantasy 6 for the playstation 2?

me: no its for the playstation ONE!(stupid idiot)

store clerk: sorry about that, let me check again.(very sarcastic tone in his voice now. more typing noise)ah yes final fantasy six for the playstation one is that correct?

me: yeah thats right(how many times do i have to tell him?)

store clerk: im sorry that game wont be in stock until the 16 of march.

me: really!?! i thought it was to come out on the first of march.

store clerk: well thats what the computer says. is there anything i can help you with?

final fantasy 6 wont come out here where i live until the 16th of march, and i think thats australia wide. WHAT THE BLOODY HELL’S GOING ON!!!! AAARRGGHH!!!!!!!!!

Bad luck mate. I only managed 2 get a copy yesterday wen it was sposed 2 b in the shops on the 1st. My local store said something about there being a hold up with the suppliers. Most other shops had none in stock but it might b worth trying WHSmiths of all places ( does whs exist over there? )I got mine from there, although they only had one in stock. If u cant, dont worry about it as its worth the wait.

Final Fantasy Anthology is being released in Australia? Since when?

Holy crap…I can’t believe I didn’t know about this…

*throws all plans about buying Metal Gear Solid 2 out the window, and rushes into the store to get the most holy of Final Fantasies*

Thats unfair it should have got a release on the same day as everyone else

But then i cant complain i got mine a day early:D

FFVI is now number 6 in the all format chart and number 1 in the playstation budget chart nice

The game released in the UK ( and I assume in Australia ) is NOT FF Anthologies, it IS actually FF6 with Terra, Locke etc. ( also comes with a very short demo of FF10 which is a bonus ) Wot exactly is FF Anthologies anyway?
P.s; ExS! Do NOT put your plans 2 buy MGS2 on hold wotever u do! The game rocks!

I went into EB about a week after the official release date, and found out that it wasn’t coming in until March 15! So I spent a restless week waiting until I finally got it (and MGS2). And it’s worth it…even if it is only a way to legally sell the FF10 demo.

WHAT! I didn’t even know it was being released in Australia!

And all that time I was planning to import it!
