Favorite character Squall or Laguna

I can’t decide which one is better Squall or Laguna. I mean Squall he is like the man with his sowrd and his Lionhart limitbreak and stuff. But Laguna is pretty cool with the way he looks and stuff (I don’t like his weapon though because it’s kind of stupid with just a gun.

I like Squall best because he has the Lion Heart. Desperado isnt quite as good (understatement)

Laguna. Don’t really know why

Laguna kinda got on my nerves with the boring lil quests and all. Squall is way better.

I think SSJ is right, Luguna’s little sidequests were very tidius and pointless…. I Think Squall is better.

Squall because of his gunblade, his Limit Breaks, and his character’s personality. At first he was this indifferent loner who could care less about anyone or anybody. Then when he met Rinoa, his heart softened and he realized he did care. He fell in love.

I liked Laguna as well because of his weapon and his Limit was OK. I liked his character too. He was clumsy, though it was endearing the way he cared for Ellone. And when he tried to get closer to Julia in the Hotel… the leg pains and his anxiety were funnie to me. ^^. (My favorite part in the game is when him and Kiros go upstairs in Winhill and they wind up easedropping on Raine and Elle talking.)

I liked them both. Laguna was an honest, caring individual who put the needs of his friends above those of his own, and tried his best to make things as good as possible. Squall starts off as a complete jackass, but as the game progresses, he begins to learn the true value of friendship, and the power of love. We see him evolve from jackass to a caring individual. If we’re talking in terms of character strength though, Squall wipes the floor clean with Laguna.

I hate Squall, he has too many problems and well quite frankly is one of the worst characters made for an FF. So I would go Laguna he is a cool guy. His gun is pretty cool, doesn’t match Squalls sword but is still good.

i dont like either. Seifer’s the best in VIII.

Squall, although I don’t like him too much either. At least he was better than Laguna. I thought the dream sequences were kinda… boring.

Squall was more interesting. You know how a kid asks his parents for candy, right? And the parents won’t give him any so the kid starts crying? The kid would keep crying until his parents decide to give him candy, AND promise him a trip to disney land or something. Well, Squall is just like a kid.

He was in love with Rinoa from the start of the game. When he met Rinoa later, as a SeeD, he noticed that Rinoa had a crush on Seifer. He started to get jealous of Seifer, and decided to lock the feeling that he had for Rinoa away. That’s why he started acting all callous towards Rinoa when she started to like him. He was stubborn, like a kid.

LAGUNA!!!! he is awsome. squall is a pansy and whines way to much. and squall is the biggest moron, he couldnt tell that rinoa was hittin on him until like the third disk(either that or hes gay) laguna accually adds some character to a main character. even though he was a little slow too to notice raine lked him (must run in the men of the family). and desperado is way cool.

Laguna is way better than Squall. He’s not that good when he’s older, but when he’s younger, he rules. Squall’s a wuss.
