is it true that the choices of instruments you make effects the conversation of Squall and Rinoa?

Yeah, the music affects the conversation. If the music is really, really bad, Rinoa will get really mad. If the music is nice, Rinoa won’t get as upset.

I used:
Irvine – Piano
Zell – Tap:D
Selphie- Violin
Quistis – Flute

It’s okay. The piano is reall bad for some reason. It’s very annoying because it’s just a repetition of the same notes.:eye:

Yeah, Rinoa doesn’t get angry at all in mine. It’s so romantic. (bleh)

I can’t remember for the life of me what I chose. It was pretty funny tho.

hmm..i remember i tried it twice, forgot which instruments tho, but the first time was random and they got all mad, so i tried it again and it was the happy ending 😀

Okay, here’s how it is according to a walkthrough (and as some of you have seen in another post of mine, I couldn’t hear the music, although the game still worked just fine):

Tune A: Guitar, Violin, Flute, Tap Dance
Tune B: Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Saxophone, Piano
Tune C: Any jumble of the 8 instruments other than the 2 above

Tune A (folk song): A smooth ride, no misunderstandings.
Tune B (ballad "Eyes on Me"): A bit uneasy, but still okay.
Tune C (jumble): Both Squall and Rinoa feel uncomfortable.

I picked the folk song just for the fun of it, Seeing Quistis doing whatever she does and Zell as well. It’s amusing.. too bad the romantic stuff comes with the party.

if i were to pic a letter… i pick B! Rinoa and Squall belongs togehter, yeah!

I had Irvine on piano, Zell on elec. gituar, Selphie on bass (saw that in the opening movie!) and Quistis on Sax.

It’s pretty stupid that they say they can’t play a single instrument, but they can play every song on every instrument without any mistakes
