Am I the only one? *Spoiler*

i went through the whole side quest, got Cloud, and actuall used him in both of my games. In one game, i made him a calculator, and he turned out to have more power than any other person did with magic. My other game left him as a Soldier, and he kicks some major ass with Finishing Touch and Cross slash ( I dont use the others much, for they take far too long to charge…and yes, I use short charge).

Anyways, just wondering…does anyone else use him, or have suggestions for a good class for him?

I’m also has Cloud 😀 .First time i had him in my party, he still very weak(lvl 1), but after you train him..he become much stronger.

In my data, i didn’t change his class,…i’m just add knight’s class on him;)

Cloud basically works as a Soldier. Giving him the accumulate ability is not a bad idea, just keep having him use it over and over until he is able to fight a monster that gets in range. Have his limit breaks ready to kick butt. Cloud is unstoppable when equipped with the right abilities.

You can’t give him Accumulate, though. Accumulate is under the Basic Skill/Guts skillset, which is replaced by Limit. But you just have to keep Cloud and someone else behind while the rest of your party takes care of the enemy. Cloud can keep bonking that enemy for low damage, gaining a level every other turn until about Lv.60

Anyway, I like using Cloud as a Soldier. He’s very effective in that class…

Just give him some MA-boosting equipment, Short Charge, and you’re all set. 🙂

I’ve heard that he’d make a really good Monk. He does have a really High innate attack, and I guess he would be pretty good if he didn’t have to charge so much, but I never really use him, I just stick with Beowulf most of the time.

I use him alot I would say make him get the time mage mastered and the ninja also of course the soldier but you can also get him into learning up for counter with the monk and then your set I thinnk oh yeah get him to learn some skills in magic or whatever else you want but I listed the essentials anyway you should be able to get him up to lvl 99 iin 12 hours or less i did mine in less but you should make him go in with ramza and your strongest character only and then have the strongest one go kill off all but 2 enemies and then power cloud up with yell and you to so you can keep up then once you can yell no more use cheer up and then keep going with those for a while it might lvl u up to but then oh and then have a healer also and then have cloud attack your normal chars from a long distance incase they got counter (take it off first) and then have him hit your guys fo a while and then he should lvl up alot I was lvl 99 and he lvled to lvl 25 or so one hit on my char and after lvl 60 (1.5 hours gone buy make sure that monsters whimpering) go and lvl him up on both still doing what you were doing before and he should have most skills masterd by doing this and then you can learn all at once also have the jp up ability and go to the deep dungeon and have him fight until one char left then fight amongst your selves to lvl him up some more and then go to the place where you find the most dragons and fight them to see how well cloud is anyway later

Even if I had to train him a lot(Until he reached LV.70)at least he was really useful:it’s true that his limits take loooong time(oh my,I still remember Cherry Blossom)they make BIG damage,and if you equip him with Excalibur(Instead of that Orlandu*Grrrrr*)and a good armor(to protect him while he’s charging) uhhhhhh……what a good char!!!!I think that for 2nd ability he should have Lancer/Ninja and HP recover(the one you learn from monks)

I jsut use him because he looks cool…..jk….anyway he’s good only if you get the materia blade on top o that volcano which doesnt make much sense(you’d think he’d already have it),i’m tryin to get him up to a good level, but mainly in battles i use worker8,beowolf,and tgcid, with my healer and magic user priest/wizard

clouds alot better then people actually know.. u just gotta level him up alot

to make him strong use the trap trick, move him on a lvl down trap over and over, then lvl him up again, it maked him real strong
