I would rate no. 7 a 7. Yes it is a brilliant game which is now looking a little dated now (no-ones ever said that before, have they?). However though I think the reason why FFVII still has appeal is the sheer amount of things to do within the game, getting a golden chocobo can be a real pain in the butt if you don’t know what you are doing, and the amusements in the golden saucer keep you going for ages. In other words there is far more lastibility with no. 7 than any others, although it was nice to see this much depth in the ninth game. Overall if you can get past the graphics and the slightly electronic sounding soundtrack, it is still quite a little gem to play, after all I have played through it eight times in as many weeks, but I haven’t done that for a while, as I am still playing 9.:alien:
