Official!!!!!!!! FF XII news!!!

Square recently announced Final Fantasy XII for the PS2, a project which is being led by Yasumi Matsuno (Final Fantasy Tactics, Vagrant Story) and Hiroyuki Itou (Final Fantasy IX).

That’s great! Final Fantasy Tactics was really strategic and FF IX was great too. I hope they make the battles more like FF X than the PS regular FFs (I like how the battles flowed – characters moved around, switched places, advanced on the enemy, etc)

Very interesting. How will FF XII play? Maybe more like X, or a return to the ATB system? (heaven forbid…)

July 2nd FF10 hits the UK shores but you best bet would be to go to Amazon.co.uk and pre order it from there and you will get it 2 months early

Oh, yes, FF XII will be awesome. I just don’t want it to come out right after FF XI. They come out with them too fast, they just need to slow down the pace just a little.:)

Thats good, producers of the game have done a good job before. But I do agree they need to slow down, the transition from FFVII to FFVIII was about 3 yrs, and both are pretty original FF’s, hopefully they can pull it off.

Im pretty sure XII will be out soon. Either the end of this year or early in 2003. I dont mind because I finish these games fast find all the stuff and want a new one. And after the FFXI if it doesnt do good you will want a new one quick.
