Magic the Gather, Beginner info

I hope this is the right forum, this is the closest I could find. Anyways I have had a ton of these cards for awhile. Me and my friends used to play it but we never did it right I don’t beleive. Does anyone know of a site that can give the general rules. It would take forever to list all the WHAT IF’S, or the HOW DO i’S and the HOW DOES THIS WORK questions.

Anyway, Magic the Gathering is in a way sort of like the Pokemon CCG, but 100fold times harder.

and theres not a grand prix comin’ by anytime soon, asides, i’d have to buy new cards. . .been out so long. . .i tried to get back in during Odyssey, but. . .ho hum. . .no one to play. . .i love readin’ the books though, i recomend everyone read them all, especially the Rath and Storm, forward, anything that has Urza, Phyrexia, and Gerrard and the Weatherlight. I’ve been tryin’ to find more to the invasion cycle, i read the second of the trilogy, i really want to read apocalypse, i saw the lil’ comic book one they had, and it kicked, i mean, Gerrard standing with Urza’s head in his hands, and Urza talking and casting a spell. I have been playing Magic for quite a while.My dad and I both play(I got him started:D )and he beats me almost everytime(it’s either because I taught him so well or it’s because he gets fricken sweet cards in every booster and box he gets!:mad: )Anyway…what kind of rare cards do you all have?I used to have a Shivan Dragon but I traded it for a Nightmare card(a whole bunch or other rares came with it.Nightmare is sweet enough!)and I still have my Jesters Cap and my Kormus bell….um…..I got a bunch of other ones too.Hehehe I have too much cards but then again,can anyone ever have too many Magic cards?Also if we’re gonna get some kind of game started here,tell me about it please!I welcome any challenges even though people will probly cheat like hell…so,we’ll see where we end up at!

Thats a shame,man!Magic,too me,is kinda hard to understand at first,so you really don’t want to forget it when you get the hang of it but on the other hand,with some of the new rules,it’s kinda easy to forget….
I still remember how to play…and I must say,MANA BURN SUCKS!!!!I also have a computer version of it…I would like to give it to anyone that wants a copy but I had to go through about a million search engines to find it….Its like 12 megs so…..
