Aeris – EY (writes with "hey") – rihss First time I played I thought it was pronounced "Iris," which really would have been appropriate since she’s the Flower Girl.)

Sephiroth – SEFF – ih – rawth. I cringe whenever I hear the chorus in OWA call him "Sephy-roth." Almost makes me glad I have the PC version… almost.

Quistis Trepe – QUIS-tis Truh-PAY. For a while I was pronouncing her last name like it rhymes with "tape." I’m still not sure.
Rinoa – Am I the only person who says "Rih-NO-uh?" Short i, not long?
Edea – ee-DEY-uh, like the spanish word "idea."
Ultimecia – don’t even get me started. I say "Ult-ih-MEE-cee-uh", "Ult-uh-muh-SEE-uh," or "Ult-uh-meh-CHEE-uh" depending on whichever pops into my head first. (third pronounciation is Italian. I know that’s probably not how it’s pronounced in the game; it’s the Italian part of my family’s fault that I say it like that).
Seifer – I’ve been trying to get myself to say it "Cypher" but I can’t quite break the habit of pronouncing it "Safer." "I before E" pronounciation rules, ya know?
Haven’t played FFIX yet. Any other weird names I’m forgetting?
