Best magic Ability

What do you think was your fav./best looking damaging healing ect. magic ability?

I love Ultima for damage and looks. Life 2 is my fav healing magic.

I like Quasar, and Ice 3. Cure 3 and Life 2 are more useful, but dont look as cool.

Um, graphics and looks really isn’t the best thing about ffvi. It’s good because of its characters and plotline. But I did happen to like Locke’s capture. He suddenly jumps at an enemy and takes a slash at it. But it really isn’t anything special…. the graphics in the more recent ff’s are way better.

Magic… i guess the ultima was kind of powerful looking.

Quake and Ice 3 were my favorites

I liked merton, even though it was a bad spell, I liked the way it looked. Meteo sucked tho I thought it would be better
*note meteo is used by the Intangir and esper thing before kefka right?

MERTON ROCKED!!! against anybody who didn’t absorb fire, it was the ultimate spell. just equip everybody with a fire shield or the paladin shield, then just cast merton over and over. it hurts the enemy and heals your party better than cure3.

I stay with Simple Magic…..

I kinda liked Vanish…..

I like ultima also incredible damage( exept for the fact that when I used it the damage was 9999 just like everthing else) and it looked cool like illumina off of Chrono Trigger

Vanish is a great spell. in combination with *spoiler* X-zone or Doom. The game would be very difficult without Vanish.

Powerful-Merton, Ultima, Pearl and Flare
Revive-Life 2, Life 3 and Cure 3
Basic-Fire3, Ice3, Bolt3

Pearl, Ice 3 Bolt 3 W.Wind, Quake and —-LIfe 2!

best offensive: Ultima. (its just stupidly powerful!)
best healing: (i cant remember if its the rite game but) Life 3
best overall: Merton. (perfect for softening up tough enemies)

Best Offensive:Ultima
Best Healing:Cure 3

Ultima,Quick,Meteor,Life 2-3.You should know why:D 😀 😀
Anyway I’ve also liked that Melton(or Merton…I don’t remember)

I thought that Merton was the most useful spell. If you had the fire shield, you could hurt most of your enemies and heal yourself at the samr time. I never lost a battle that way.
