What do you think of Ark?

I don’t know about you guys, but I think that eidolon, Ark, was hilarious. Talk about an excessively long animation sequence. I summoned Ark and had time to grab a soda and watch the snow outside for a while before the sequence was done.

What do y’all think?

Never saw it… never bothered with beating Ozma XD but from what I’ve seen in pics, and heard is that it looks pretty cool, but drags on forever, just like Eden in FF8… but.. one of these days I need to get him… just to master the game.. XD

I didnt have Ark, where do you get him at?

You get to Pumice Pieces, kick Hades’ a**, then get him to synth the two pieces into a regular piece of Pumice. Then slap it on Garnet to get Ark. Costs 80 MP, 40 with Half MP ability…

it looks cool but the first time ya summon him it takes to damm long, they always had something from each game do that (FF7, knights of the round, FF8 Eden) and now this. I will always just prefer bahamut anywayz and as i don’t use dagger it doesn’t bother me anywayz!

Don’t waste your pumice pieces just get to high levels and kick Ozma’s rainbow a$$

well about ark….it was cool and all but too long and too much mp i would rather just use bahamut considering mine does 9999 no matter what so Ark is just a waste of mp

I never saw ark as an edilon because i never use garnet so…..but i think that he was a hard boss and that he would proably make a good summon:)

Methinks that Knights of the round was better. I never can be bothered to get ark now coz i can kik necron at Lv.53!!! I also cant be rsed 2 take Ozma so i dont get it. I do still

lvl 53 thats it i was in the 40’s when i wooped Hades and the final bosses but a lot higher when i beat Ozma…i was high enough to cream him

<font face="comic sans ms" color="red">IMO, Ark is useless, but there you go. I’ve used it about 5 times and it’s never done more than 6000 damage. Eiko’s Holy spell does 6000-7000, and takes much less MP and time…which is why is use Eiko rather than Garnet. 😉

And entering in to the discussion about what level you were at, I managed to beat Necron with a level 1 party. If you don’t believe me, ask TRZD. Or whatever he calls himself here…Meltigemini, I believe. :E

lets see did you do it with no abilities (which of course you couldn’t have any if you were level 1) and you cheated so hey i really don’t think you count (and i don’t mean you cheated in battle although you very well could have) were your stats level one also health included and 1st disk weapons and just health items

First off when i first used Ark it did a little over 8,000 but when i used it against yans it does 9,999 damage

(a) yans are weak to shadow damage

(b)what were your level like? for us ‘mere mortals’ who just wanna finish the game before ayone else then finish the game with high levels ark only does 4000-5000 damage so it’s not worth it

I haven’t seen Ark yet. I’m still only on the 2nd cd in my second game. I kinda rushed through it the first time. But this time I’m trying to work on a getting as much as I can. Cards, summons, skills, levels, items. All that sorta stuff. I’m looking forward to getting Ark.

AH! I C now, I never really cared much to defeat Ozma or Hades! That may be why I dont have him….lol. DUH! I need to do that sometime. I know I will. I always try to get everything done in a game. A game isnt complete until you find everything in the game.

Used him once and thats it.
Its a waste of time using it over and over again.
Just got him to 100% the game.
