Mature Rikku Sketch

I’ve drawn another pic of Rikku (geez, i’m making a career out of this), and I hope it proves to be better then anything else i’ve done. I did give Rikku a more mature look with the eyes, her body structure. I wanted her to look "beautiful", instead of "cute". But to spice the pic up a bit I added a grenade to her hand which worked out ok, but it’ll probably be one of the first things I change in the drawing if I make any.

I guess this goes out to all the older guys (like me :p) that would get in a bit of trouble messing with her. 😉 Think of her as 18 or older in this. XD

Wow! You are so good! I like your style. It’s like anime, my favorite. If all your pictures are as good as this or better, you are a lot better than me. And I thought I was the only person who can draw anime in North America… you are very skilled. You must have drawn a lot of pictures. I’m so jealous now.

It’s only a matter of time before I post some of my pictures so be patient. You’ll probably be greatly disappointed, though, after seeing what Kayin Vanderkill can do. He makes me feel like a newbie! It’s been a long time since I feel somebody’s better than me at drawing anime. I should have drawn more when I was younger. >_< I was too confident, thinking that I was the best…:(

But.. I would have made her fingers a wee bit thinner and longer.. It looks more mature then ^_^; Child’s fingers are short and thick, fingers of older people are longer and thinner.. XD

I really like the hair and eyes though ^_^ Can’t wait till you CGed it 😀

Wow! You did manage to make her more mature! I love the eyes.

It looks almost like Rikku’s long lost twin or something instead of herself, since Rikku has more of a cute look to her. But I know you made her look mature like that on purpose.

Maybe you’ll color it?

I’ve made changes to the sketch and got rid of the hand holding the grenade. I’m also trying to make her collar thing look more realistic, and I’m widening her body, since I think her head is a little to big.
