Diablo II

I need to kill time before my next class so I figured I would start this topic.

Who else plays, do you play on battle.net, if so what realm, do you have the exp pack, and what character types/strategies do you use?

I play on battle.net (not open, open has too many cheaters) in the east realm and I have the exp pack. I tend to use a sorceress, druid, barbarian, or paladin although I’ve used every class at some point.

Seen as I don’t have a whole lot of time I won’t get into my strategies right now but I’ll either edit this post or reply later about my strategies…

I play east, although I havent played in so long that my account is gone. I have the exp, and I prefer paladins with powerful poison weapons, where I can zeal it up, then use the run aura to hightail it out of there.

I have the exp and like to play a druid, sorceress, or amazon the best so far. I have hardly ever played any on b.net, but when I do it’s on the east server.

Alright…strategies time, in no specific order…

Barbarian: I tend to just go with brute strength with him. When I get enough mana stealing items I tend to put Concentrate on my left mouse click and whirlwind on my right. That way I’m doing more damage than I normally would with a simple attack and I have whirlwind ready for use when I need it. Other than that there is the basic max out of a chosen weapon mastery and selecting a couple cries to use.

Paladin: For some reason I love Thorns with the Pally, don’t know why. I just get Fanaticism up a few levels, Conversion, and Blessing…well and Salvation too incase I can’t find any good resistance items for a while, then just go from there.

Druid: I know a lot of people use the wolf but I prefer the bear myself because of the powerful attacks it offers. When I get him onto higher levels he can’t be stopped. Just higher a barbarian in act V, summon some wolves or a bear along with a Carrion Vine and a Wolverine and I’m good to go. Set Fireclaw to the left mouse button and Hunger to the right and I never die.

Sorc: Probably one of the harder characters for me to use at first but ultimately the best for my style of play because I tend to want to hang back and kill off enemies from afar. I just boost up firewall and meteor a little and then just sit back and wait till I can get Frozen Orb and Hydra to max. Static Field is always nice as well. Oh, and of course get warmth to anywhere from level 10-20. After I get that set I just dump all my other skill points into a random lightning skill incase I run into an enemy that is both fire and cold immune and the rest into Fire and Cold Masteries. Skill point wise I put 1 point into strength every level and an extra one every 10 levels. Then I put one into either Dexterity or Vitality depending on which I feel I need most at the time and dump the rest into Mana.

As for the other classes, I use them but not enough to have developed good strategies for them yet…

I play Diablo II also. I play in East and West. I have Exp pack and i play with Druid, Amizon, Barbarian, and Assassin.

I like you am special too. I have D2 and the Expansion. I haven’t played on BNet in a while, so my account was also deleted, but when I do I’m in the East Realm. Since I just reformated my hard drive and just got D2 installed again I will eventually get back online.

As for stradegy, and character I prefer the good ol Barb. I generally try to keep a well balance character stat wise. I usually try to use 2 swords with as much life steal as possible, the more the better.

Other than that, I have played with every other character, and I find a Necro to be the second best. With him, I tend to use a lot of mana steal items and as many items as I can that add to skills.

Okay, since the last time I posted, I have gotten back on BNet…..My new account name is Entilzah_Bob. If anyone see’s me online……feel free to come and join a game with me.

Question: Is anyone else having a problems with the patch making the CDRom not respond to the CD……and/or if someone know’s how to fix it other than uninstall and reinstall…..let me know.
