Blood: The Last Vampire

This movie has some great animation, but I thought it would have done better as a complete series. It’s got too much to say in just that small amount of time, and thus, ends quicker than everyone hopes. I liked it, though.

I wish it had a sequel, or something.

i just saw it last night, i liked it, but i feel the same as you about there not being a sequel.

I love the animation in the film–it’s gorgeous…

I saw it two weekends ago at an anime day that I was at. It was great. Pretty short, but great. I want to get it on DVD. 😀

From the same people who made ghost in the shell. Now the know there shit! Havent seen much of it yet, but I hope to dl it soon. lol.

It only seems short because of the intensity of the anime. It’s actually like one and a half hours long! I think it’s the second in a series, or at least I hope it is, because of all the back story that we’re missing. Also I hope they make a sequel, cause, the ending kinda left me hanging, and I really don’t like waiting in suspence/anticipation. Oh! Has anyone else noticed how big the lips are in the anime?

It’s based off a PSX game under the same name. Of course the game’s only available in Japan. All the backstory is in the game too.

They’re currently making the sequel to the anime right now as I type. They’ve been working on it since last October, so maybe it’ll hit Japn sometime this summer or fall in Japan.

Oh yeah, I liked the anime!

Yeah It was pretty cool, The Animation rocked like the Flintstones on methamphetamines!

The story kinda left me hanging, but there were some all right plot twists. More background is definitely needed, and maybe some more dialouge. The DVD kicks butt! Some info but not a lot.

I like the concept, and I like the characters, The lips and noses of the people are alot different than run of the mill anime, they’re a bit softer and rounded, as oppossed to the traditional sharp triangals and thin lines.

Definitely check it out.
