Thank you for doing a collection like this~ =3

Thank you for this!

Beautiful music

Ok so here I am again in more of your compilations.
First of all, wonderful albums, this ‘chant’ theme is really interesting and even inspires me to do my own (albums, not chants :p). Some tracks I got more than 2 or 3 times in my HD from ffshrine users custom compilations, but some tracks I listened to for the first time. Overall there’s more consistency in these albums, even if a few games were dominant (like Spyro or Heroes) and could switch places with other vgm sources. I, myself, am waiting to reach a level of excellence in vgm knowledge to compile my own playlists and I’m glad there’s folks like you from whom we learn (the good and the bad).

Now, on with the proper tagging (what else). I spent the past day gathering info from various web sources about the right composers, plus, since after all it is a chant collection, I find it more just to credit vocal solo performances (baritones, sopranos etc.) as well; Which sometimes is a pain in the ass to find.
I’m not going to go through the changes I’ve made from the original tagging, rather note info I couldn’t find and things I’m not sure of.
So, here’s the almost proper playlists for those that wanna tag ’em or simply want the info!

01. Hiroki Kikuta & Catherine Bott – Requiem [Koudelka]
02. Tommy Tallarico, Michael Richard Plowman & Laurie Robinson – Muse [Advent Rising]
03. Jesper Kyd – Snow Battle [Freedom Fighters]

23. Nobuo Uematsu, Emma Wetter, Fredrik Strid & Johan Schinkler – Opera Maria & Draco (Distant Worlds Concert) [Final Fantasy VI]

NOTES:
(2) Advent Rising: Laurie Robinson sings in the Advent Rising Suite of VG Live, so I’m guessing it’s her voice on ‘Muse’.
(4) Tomb Raider Legend: Couldn’t find info for the fem vocals
(6) Super Smash Bros Brawl: I got no info on the OST, but I’ll take your word for it 🙂
(7/13/21) Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon: Same goes for this, I can’t find a tracklist.
(11/17) .hack//G.U.: In both tracks, besides tagging the composer Fukuda there’s also some fem vocal solo performances. They belong either to Yasutaka Anzai or Tomoyo Mitani. If anyone knows for sure, let us know! (also, I corrected the titles according to .hack wikia)
(14) Dark Age of Camelot: I got Charles Washington as composer, but how about them vocals?

01. Nobuo Uematsu & G.Y.A. – The Promised Land [FF VII Advent Children]
02. Kow Otani – To The Ancient Land [Shadow of the Colossus]
03. Jesper Kyd – Hunter [Hitman: Blood Money]

07. Paul Romero, Rob King & Steve Baca – Heroes of Might & Magic IV Theme [Heroes of Might & Magic IV]
08. Rebecca Kneubuhl & Gabriel Mann – Destroyer’s Core [Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon]

10. Jesper Kyd – Jerusalem Horse Ride [Assassin’s Creed]
11. Nobuo Uematsu, Ririko Yamabuki & Risa Ohki – Final Fantasy Prelude (Pray Arrangement) [Final Fantasy: Pray]
12. Akira Nishizaki, Ryoko Shiraishi, Camilla Hakelind & Mahoro Nakada – Landscape Under The Ghost / KAMINANO [Tekken II Strike Fighting II]

16. Tim Larkin & Tasha Koontz – Gallery Theme [Uru]
17. Bill Brown – Final Conflict [Lineage II]
18. Akira Nishizaki, Takashi Furukawa, Hideaki Mitsui & Camilla Hakelind – Forest [Tekken II Strike Fighting]

20. Steve Burke – Hero’s Theme [Kameo: Elements of Power]
21. Maurice Durufle – Ubi Caritas Et Amor [Koudelka]
22. Danny Elfman – Fable Theme [Fable II]
23. Keiichi Suzuki & Hirokazu Tanaka – Eight Melodies [Mother]

NOTES:
(9) Knights of the Temple: Infernal Crusade: No info on the female vocals
(18) Tekken II: I got no concrete info on the vocal solo performance, but I’m guessing it’s Camilla Hakelind that does vocals throughout the game, like track 12 Kaminano

Correct me if there are any omissions.
That’s it 😀

Thanks
