Sorry to the mods if this isn�t the correct place to post this. I was debating between general discussion, RPG, or artistic discussion and it seemed to fit here pretty well but if this isn�t the right section please move it were you think this�ll get the most views.
I guess this Idea would be in response to the forum about the shrine �dieing�. And I have to say that it�s getting pretty empty here I only see the same people posting. So I have been thinking, that in order to maybe revive the shrine a bit (and I�m not saying that it will work) maybe we could have the artists of the community work together on something. I know there is an art contest out there and it might grab some people but what do we do after it�s over? So I propose that we start something new. I have two ideas in mind, I�m sorry but in order to do these you have to either have a scanner handy or be really good at drawing on the computer:
1. Comic: I think we should start a comic, some one thinks of a story line (this could involve some of the literary geniuses that we have here), and we all draw one page each and then kind of pass the story on to the next artist who then passes it on and it soon comes back to the person it started with.
2. Art based RPG: I got the idea from a French site (http://reidivinae.free.fr/ if you want to see.) Anyways my version of an art base RPG would probably be a little different seeing as I don�t completely understand how the French site did it ^_^* sorry about that. But the way it could be done is along the same lines as the comic; A certain number of people make up their own character and character�s bio and we again have someone make up a story line but a loose one so we can have some movement for interaction between characters. This idea still needs some improvement but if it sounds at all appealing to anyone than maybe we can work out the kinks.
Both of these ideas would need a website so people can see the progress out side the forums, I can handle that, but I was thinking we could also post them in the art section so new people who come by the shrine would want to stick around and follow the stories. I think these ideas would be kinda fun, for the artists and the people reading along, but this can only be done if I have some people to participate. So if you would like to start something up PM me, people with both writing skills and art skills are welcome to join, I�m not asking for much, so people with even the slightest artistic abilities can join.
