Does anyone know the source for the uploads in this thread? There is no mention anywhere that I've found that this CD has actually been released yet, and the FLAC version above doesn't contain a log file or anything.

I got this off what.cd, and the rar comes with a log file, which proves this was ripped from a cd.
mp3 reencodes arent allowed there anyway, so i am pretty positive this is sourced from the actual cd.

From what I heard, Koji Kondo composed these versions of the songs, just like he did for the original versions in the games.

Okay, cool! Thanks. I just wasn't certain that Koji Kondo was still composing everything. I'm pretty sure there are a few Zelda games that either weren't by him, or he worked on them with other people. Wind Waker I know for sure, and then possibly the two Oracle games, but that's just a guess.

What is a FLAC-version?

This is a great upload... but I don't understand why in '.flac', thanks for your work but can someone upload an .mp3 version?
Or provide a link to a decent converter? Thank you. :)

FLAC is a lossless format. In other words, it is (if ripped properly) the same quality as the tracks on the CD. MP3 is fairly compatible with everything and smaller in file size, but it is also much lower in quality, therefore, since data is compressed and some is thrown out, it is a lossy format. Even M4A is superior to MP3, and thus, I never use MP3 anymore.

Yup, Kosuke Yamashita and Chad Seiter. Does anyone know who composed each track of the original tracks though? I'd love to have properly attribute in my library rather than just assign everything to Kondo. VGMdb lists these composer's, but not on a track by track basis: Koji Kondo, Toru Minegishi, Kenta Nagata, Asuka Ohta, Hajime Wakai.
