So I started this game yesterday... and haven't stopped.

It's incredible and exactly how a JRPG should be.

I know it's not available in America, but there's always emulation.

Anyone else played it? What are your opinions of the game.

No spoilers, please.

I was really hoping you were going to say this was a terrible game. I'd heard it was great, and now Skyward Sword is coming out to rave reviews as well... The Wii waits until now to get great games?!

Wait a minute... Christmas... hmm.

I played through it a few months ago when it came out. I liked it, though I think its greatness is exaggerated a little. There's a crazy amount of things to do, but it isn't that great and it definitely got repetitive for me eventually. The story's alright, it has its twists and turns here and there. I actually liked the voice acting (IT'S REYN TIME) except for Riki who didn't need to exist.

It's really good, but not as good as Rhythm Heaven Wii which came out around the same time.

Lol, I like the voice acting too, although sometimes I think that they talk too much during battle. Reyn is a bro though.

But considering the genre has been lackluster and stale on this current gen of consoles, playing Xenoblade is like a breath of fresh air.

Yeah, it's definitely more like a PS2 era JRPG than anything else we've seen this generation. I played it right after I finished FF12 (for the first time) and they have a lot in common.

Being able to look in the sky and see a giant robot thing (or a part of it) was pretty cool, man.

I recently started playing it and I'm impressed. I don't really expect many great games to come out on the Wii, but when a game like this comes out, I'm always surprised. Now all I need is the English translation of The Last story and I'll be set.

This game was the only reason why I got a Wii.

Is that enough to show how much I love this game?

Anyone know anywhere cheap to get this from? I live in Australia.

So, this is a good game to play? I've been recommended it before, but I still haven't looked into it much. I'm just so lazy :/

Absolutely. There's so much content to be found, a multitude of activities besides the main story, bundles of weapons and armor to collect, and gorgeous landscapes which works beautifully on the Wii's hardware. Most addicting is the action, which consists of various optional attacks that can eventually be customized to match your preferences. Overall it's my favorite Wii game and far more satisfying than other free-roam action/adventure titles, such as Zelda or Okami.
