You go to the uploading site and it presents you with a menu to upload things. Just use Multiupload instead of Mediafire.

depends on the site. usually it depends on activity, probably 30 or 90 days if no one downloads it. if you're premium they will usually last forever

Do I have to pay and what's the maximum upload limit?

if you create a free account, and log in every month or so, they will remain indefinitely.
size limit is 200mb right now, and there is no maximum amount of files or space, as long as they are under the 200 mb limit (or you pay for a premium account for larger files).

to upload new files (in an html5-compliant browser), just log in, then drag+drop the files you want to upload, and it will start
