Asking for the scans is the same as saying you have no intention of buying the CD, so don't ask for scans.

Buy the CD, it's a good one.

Not true! I love scans with CDs that I buy so I have an excuse to never have to open it and preserve it's quality.

As for the CD, I'll look into it. As much as I want it, money is a little tight right now.

I also appreciate scans when available for the same reason, to protect my own booklets. If I ever want to read the booklet I can just open the scans on my pc instead of wearing out the booklets. I have a few booklets that definitely show some wear and tear from me looking through them over the years. Also, since it is only available in a very limited quantity, having scans or not won't matter much since they will be sold out soon. Then we won't have the scans and we won't be able to buy the disc either.

Also, when scores these days are limited to like 1,000 copies, what's wrong with wanting the scans? It's not like most of us will ever be able to but them since these sell out in usually the first week or so.

I'm not complaining about scans not being posted, just making a point that are are legitimate reasons for wanting them.

People need to realize that for scans to be posted, especially when we're talking about a 1000 or 1500 limited release, someone who actually took the time and money to buy the CD needs to:

1. Open up their package and rip the cellophane out
2. Take the CD out of the box, stick it in the tray, rip it
3. Pick the booklet out of the box, flatten it out on a scanner and go through each page

... so you people who are complaining don't have to open your precious little wrapped limited CD ohmygod ohmygod.

I don't expect any scans for something like this, it's pretty amazing someone actually took the time to buy and rip it at their expense.

Go buy it if you want to read it.

For those who want the complete Morricone score pressed, on ebay two users sold (for $222 and $146!!) a 2CD set with the complete score by Morricone, and the movie edits on the other.

Thankfully, there are some copies remaining in Cimmerian Records (http://www.cimmerianrecords.com) for $24.99!!

Thanks for this one. I'll certainly try to pick up a CD copy if I can. Jeez....I think I've bought at least 3 different versions of this score already! I love this soundtrack, though (and this film)...so it's been well worth the expense. I have the original version on vinyl and I LOVE letting it play loud and rattle my "windows" (pun intended). Cheers!

The original uploader posted this today on another of his threads....

Hope everyone has enjoyed this and my other uploads. As of today, this will be my last post here due to the fact that another site has been downloading the scores I post and posting them on a blog site. I've been suspicious about this for awhile and today it was all but confirmed when I looked at the site and saw this title posted there along with the picture I took with my iphone 4s. It seems this particular blog posts stuff almost always after things get posted here (and not just the scores I post, but other's posts). Maybe one day I will return, but it just gets under my skin when I see this happening. Thanks to everyone who has given me rep and their kind thanks for the various scores I have posted over my time here.

Take care,

Herbert West

I know I'm new here but I have to ask with a smile... if you never open the CD's you buy to "preserve the quality" then how do you listen to them? You ask for booklet scans of all the CD's you buy so you don't have to open them...and .... you also download the music? That just doesn't make sense :D

I bought this CD and opened it up, fingered the booklet and all !

When I click on the link the webpage that opens is just blank. Does anyone have any idea why that is???

Okay, I just tried another multi-upload link for an entirely different file and the same thing happened, so I guess the problem is on my end... Does anyone know what I can do to fix this problem???
