I got interested in this soundtrack because it's composed by Conisch, who did all three Mardock Scramble movie OSTs, and I'm currently looking for the OST to the second film.

I know conish from other stuff I have.

Mardock Scramble music is any good? or the anime itself is good?

The anime movies are good if you're into neo-noir cyberpunkish settings. It's pretty graphic and mature so to speak, but for me it's a plus.
The characters are interesting enough and it shows some personality developments. Action sequences are rare but well directed and violent, kinda like in ghost in the Shell movies.

Overall I'd give both films a score 7/10. Pretty good animation too.

The music... to me is kind of a mixed bag. Let's say it fits to what you see on the screen and sets the mood. There are some light melodic (piano) tracks, some futuristic techno and some dark distorted tracks.
Personally I really want to hear the full version of track#10 "Ark" from the second OST.

Cyberpunk is for me. :D
I have been quiet curious about it, just not yet put my balls at working on see it actually. But I might give it a try.

Quick search on the second ost. had no luck..... yet. I might look for it later. :)

And thanks for looking, though I doubt it's out there, my search had no results, no mp3 no nothing. It's a little unusual since OST2 had been out for nearly a year.

Good find, Herr Salat. It's nice to finally being able to check it out. Makes me wonder if Mardock Scramble - Third Exhaust is any good, I haven't even seen the movie yet since it hasn't been released on bluray yet.

By downloading 320s do you mean you intend on purchasing them from Xiami?

That's great man. To be honest I already had a chance to check out Second Combustion OST, someone was nice enough to send me a lossless version of it in PM a little while ago, but they specifically asked not to upload it anywhere, so yeah...

You know what else would be great - if you do the same for Third Exhaust - post 320 of it. Cause I'll admit I'm just not motivated enough to go through the tutorial to get free points from their site to download that stuff. It's probably not even that hard, but... call me lazy on this one.

PS. Also your stylized zeroes look nice, makes me wonder where did ya get the idea from? :D
