After discovering these forums recently, and doing my fair share of downloading thanks to all of the helpful people here, I figured it was only right that I made a contribution of my own.

About a year ago I attempted a rip of the Red Dead Redemption music. Very carefully and slowly, I played the entire game with the sound effects off and did my best to record every second of music in the game. While I cannot be sure I have recorded every piece of music on the disk, it is close to it if I haven't. I was extremely disappointed to find that the official OST was missing TONS of music, so I decided to do the rip for myself. I spent a lot of time on this and I figured what the heck, might as well share it with you all. 0.o

I did download TOMANDANDY's Red Dead Redemption RIP, and the arrangement and quality of the rip is quite different. Also that rip is in .ogg format, and this one is in .mp3 format.

Please be gentle, I am a complete amateur at ripping and the rip may not be perfect, but I have enjoyed it often since I have had it, and I am very satisfied with it. I hope you enjoy it as well. :D

No problem at all :D. Took me about 2 weeks to play through and record everything, not to mention a few days cutting it all up. So yes it took a while but is definitely worth it. :D

If anyone feels the need to upload it to a different site , feel free. I don't have an account but I always found that Mediafire works best for me, so that is what I chose.

I didn't bother recording the songs from the OST on my playthrough because I didn't see a reason too, since I already had them. Like I said, I did my best :(. Not complete but at least 95% of the music is here I believe.

Unfortunately, your Blackwater file has a couple of Windows system sounds recorded into the music, which are quite distracting (1:10 and 1:53). Can you possibly fix this?

Not windows sounds. Those are in-game clicks that CANNOT be turned off. Even turning the sound all the way down, these clicks come up when you get a mission/item/collection update, and I did my best to minimize them.

Like I said I did the rip for myself, just sharing with you all. Didn't plan on uploading until recently so I apologize if it isn't perfect, but I warned ya 0.o.

Try uploading in parts < 200 MB, that may do the trick.

Ridiculous, mediafire keeps removing my files for violating some unknown term of service. There is no explanation they just remove it. Anyone have a suggestion where else I can upload the files?

It was suggested to me by McSiff that it might be a good idea to upload this rip to youtube to reach a wider range of people and allow more to enjoy this rip as I have. So I have taken his advice and I spent a few days and did it. I also did some renamed a lot of tracks appropriately to make them easier to sift through. Please spread the word because more people need to hear this awesome OST! Here ya go!

There is no order... This is an unofficial rip. Actually when I renamed the tracks more appropriately, they actually spread out nicely so there aren't similar tracks next to each other. And technically it is in order, alphabetical . :D

If you mean the order that they play in the game well...that's a bit complicated. When I recorded them I only named them accordingly, I didn't number them sorry. Maybe if I get some free time soon I can sit down and arrage the list to be as close as I can make it to in order of appearance.

Also, feel free to make your own playlist with my videos if you like.

Actually, I just played through the game again a few weeks ago. I noticed I missed quite a few tracks, and I think I can do a much better job of getting a more complete version now that I have done a rip.

When I ripped it last year it was my first time ripping, so I didn't know what I was doing really.

Now that I have the experience I will have a MUCH more complete rip and hopefully better quality, and this time I will make sure to number each track and have them play exactly in the order in which they play in the game, or to the best of my ability. I am going to try and record every single piece of music in the game this time and also I want to do a rip of Undead Nightmare as well.

I plan on starting the new rip sometime in the next few weeks so check back here sometime between now and then . In the meantime please enjoy my current rip. :D

Why dude? Why did you put ending part as closing the song? You could've just left it how it was. There are people who want to compare the musics together without hearing the ending part. Seriously WHY!?
