What's ALAC good/known for?

ALAC is apple lossless. This is great for if you want lossless audio on your apple devices like iPod, iPhone, iPad. It also runs nativly in Quicktime and iTunes. Its like FLAC in the fact that it compresses the file without losing quality.

I downloaded the mp3 upload of this a while ago, and am only just listening to it (I had a previous download before) but is it just me, or is the quality pretty bad? The FLAC link in the first page doesn't work for me either. Can someone re-up the FLAC, or a better quality mp3 version?

I'll re-up in the next couple of days. I can re-up Hack3rman's mp3 version, or another mp3 version I got a while back (also 320k) which has noticeably better sound quality.

NEW mp3 UPLOAD

For some reason, Hack3rman's mp3 rip had background noise (almost like faint radio static) on all tracks, more noticeable on some than others. This upload has no background noise, and is still 320k.

I'll take a look at the MP3 files tonight when I get home, and Re-Upload the FLAC version as well. The background noise might have been an encoding issue when I first coverted them to MP3.

Like I said, it's more noticeable on some cues than others. Compare the opening of "McQueen & Sally" on my upload with your mp3 version and you should hear it.

What’s Wagon Wheel sketch? Never heard of that cue, and it’s not in the score sheets either.

It's part of a different PDF. Wagon Wheel was from the last scene as McQueen looks at the reopened Wheel Well Motel.

Oh, interesting! I'm assuming "6m04 Loose Ends" is the cue that starts as McQueen meets the Rust-Eze crew (plus Mack and the Radiator Springs gang) immediately after the final race. So this cue "Wagon Wheel" (or "Wheel Well") should be 6m05?

I'm curious - why did you say you didn't have "Piston Cup Fanfare" and "Wagon Wheel"? As far as I know, nobody has them! Or did somebody say they had them?
