Alright, it's time for everyone to give their opinion on what they think should be the official Final Fantasy Mascot.

Over the years and over many Final Fantasy games, we've come in contact with various creatures. Some in a few games, and some in most all of them, but when we see these creatures, Final Fantasy always comes to mind.

Now.....what do you think would make the best mascot for Final Fantasy?

Me.....it's all in the Moogle ^_^

Although the moogle is cute, the undoubtable 'FF mascot' is of course, the big yellow bird we all know and love as the chocobo, as, unlike the moogle, the chocobo has been in every FF to date bar the original, where's the moogle only first appeared in FFV and then sporadically thorughout successive FF games, from playing a major role in the game (FFVI and IX), to only occasional references (such as VIII and Tactics).

After all, there are a number of spin-off games where the chocobo plays centre stage, such as Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon, and Chocobo Racing, so it's pretty obvious the chocobo fufils Square's corporate mascot role just fine.

yea... but the chocobos have gotten enough recognition...
i think that the moogle should be the mascot since theyre cool and all....

Hmmm tough desiscion, though I must admit I cannot resist the charmes of the moogles ^_^. Though Chocobos are in every game the moogles win :).

The moogle on the chocobo combination wins xD o_O Why not? Combine the two most known things of every FF game and make it one ^_^
Moogle is cuter then the Chocobo, but the Chocobo is the one way to go ;)

Shoo-puff! The shoo-puff should be the official Final Fantasy mascot. I mean, anything that you can jump off of into water wins by default, right?

Okay, now I've got that out of my system, there's only really two candidates for the job. The Chocobo or the Moogle. And seeing as the Moogles gave me so much entertainment in Final Fantasy IX, I'm going for them.

Just to warn the moogles though. Keep an eye on your back. The shoo-puff is watching and biding its time to take over.

Honestly, I am with the chocobo people. The chocobo is the most recognizable creature in the games.

1) Chocobo
2) Moogle
3) Black Mage ^^
4) Cactuar
5) Moomba

As for the shoopuff, Adam, I think the thing is simply too BIG. I bet it won�t fit in FF XII! =P

I'm going for moogles as well even though chocobos are in every game moogles win my vote because they're cute.

He was even there in FF1!! Chocobos didnt' come in until a few games later.

Nobody's suggested Cid yet. This is one that I have seen before mentioned in terms of "mascot" or "icon" or whatever. But I'm going to have to go with chocobos. Wark! Or, kweh! Or whatever you want to say.

No, chocobos were introduced in FF2. A game which I refuse to play because I can not stand the weird battle system.

Oh, and I fourth the moogle/chocobo idea. Maybe if I get motivated I'll even try it myself. Don't count on it though. (Darn, though, now I wanna do it. Stay tuned... maybe...)

Well the moogle may be kool but they aint got a patch on the chocobos:cool: Moogle ruled in ff9 but chocobos ruled in everyother FF theyve been in, FF7 espcially;) and i suppose the idea of a moogle riding a chocobo is not a bad idea.....:cool:
