I used Audition for improving the sound on the Bootlegs, I used AC3filter for getting the music from the DVD. (look in my Star Trek IV thread for details)

Most of this was done in Sony Vegas, the rest was done in Audacity, soundbooth and Audition.

How would one go about doing that? I work with DVD Audio Extractor but it's obvious that the Blu Ray will go the way of the VHS and I need to find a new way to do that. I'm hoping to find a program that functions like DVD.A.E. and extracts like 6 channels and is for free.

Well, if you have a Blu-ray drive in your computer (your going to need one after all) you can rip a BR like this:


First you need to have the following program(s) to rip the audio from the movie and they need to be cracked.

Aiseesoft Blu-Ray Ripper and DVDFab.
I prefer DVDFab cus it works most times also with copyright protected dvd/blurays.

And to convert the file to 8 wav files you need to have : UsEac3To.

First to begin, insert the disc, open DVDFab. and go to "audio" and set it as "audio file from disc" (my friend wrote this, and his is dutch so maybe its in another form explained there, sorry) after that set it to 7.1 (if the disc have that) and hit Begin.

Well, Audacity can open AC3 format as seperate channels, which is much smaller..

I have been collecting scores for a long time and I love making “film version” chronological cues and tracklists. Sometimes I will not remember the original source for the material (if not from the original CD album) so bear with me and remind me nicely if you are to credit for the contribution. If so then THANK YOU! I am not a professional audio editor and some of my older work may be a bit choppy in the editing. I am sorry. Again, I made/edited these mostly just for my own enjoyment. NOTE: Star Wars Eps III, IV, V & VI are still being edited with deleted scene music included so be patient.
