I really like the score for the second game. It's a shame the official soundtrack has never been released.

This is not my rip, because I haven't found the proper software to export the the audio from N64 rom.
Tried sound_lib_extractor.zip and N64 Sound Tool, but neither one gave any results.
I know, after using one of those tools, the music suppose to come out in reverse-engineered format .usf, but the archive of such for this game I didn't see in regular places like Zophar.net (http://www.zophar.net/music/usf.html) or hcs64.com (http://usf.hcs64.com/).

Step2. Open and convert .brstrm to WAV using foobar2000

Excellent shooter, in my opinion. Since the Wii lacks Star Fox, this is a great alternative.

It is excellent in my opinion too: fantastic art, action, presentation, music - everything is top notch.

One interesting detail is that in Japan the first game had a subtitle "Successor of the Earth" and the second "Successor of the Universe", I think it's kinda cool and demonstrates the evolution of the series.

A huge thanks for this excellent post ! I wonder why most Star Successor cutscenes themes are missing though, knowing nothing on Wii gamerip. “morph” is the only exception but it's probably because it's also used in gameplay. It's not really important anyway but some are quite cool (starting of Undersea Tunnel cutscene for example).

Look at when the original post was created (and it hasn't been modified since) - over 2.5 years and Depositfiles links are still alive. Don't think Zippyshare could do the same.

It would be neat if someone could extract the music straight from Sin & Punishment (N64). I already have some of the tracks, but they're obviously low quality. I'm thinking that they used low quality mp3s in the game itself.

There's no mp3 files on cartridge games, they used MIDI.

Is there any way to rip the sound effects from either game? I love some of the sound effects and I need some new ones for my phone. Any help would be appreciated!
