I've been having a hard time finding the Loss of me piano piece for the longest; it's as though it never existed. I've scoured all throughout youtube and whatever else I could find but I've only found two versions. The original and the same piano piece over and over. It was soo long ago that I listened to it, like 2004 or before. Please help me.

These are the two generic finds I'm getting that are not it:

Original:
Final Fantasy IX OST - Loss of Me ~ Beatrix's Theme - YouTube (http://youtu.be/BRpGoFISvok)

Piano:
Rose of May - YouTube (http://youtu.be/cRPoKOBGzAE)

While they're both beautiful they're not what I'm looking for.

Thank you!

Hmmm, then I'm not sure what version exactly you're meaning because the two versions on Youtube you posted are the only official arrangements of Rose of May - the original version from the game's OST and the Piano Collections arrangement by Aki Kuroda for solo-piano. All I can think of is it's perhaps an unofficial fan-made arrangement, so I searched Overclocked Remix as a starting point (OverClocked ReMix - Video Game Music Community (http://ocremix.org)) and found three arrangements. Sadly though, none of them were solo-piano arrangements.

I'm sorry, but I think the version you're after is probably next to impossible to find without more information.

Was the DLC version for Dissidia any different than the other versions? Haven't played it so I don't know.

No, the DLC music packs for Dissidia are just the OST versions. Besides, this hypothetical track would probably predate Dissidia's release.

Are you sure it's not a fan-made MIDI version? (I've seen numerous examples of MIDI renditions of Rose of May used as background music on websites, often by webmasters who have no idea exactly what the music even is, only featuring it because of it's sad, Gaelic melody.)
