Composed by Rmi Gazel & VA

This is my most recent Rayman 1 gamerip. It's probably the most complete one you can get. Unlike other gamerips, which have 50/51 tracks, this one has 76, including the extra music from the Playstation version and a few tracks from recently discovered prototype versions of the game.
It also has accurate naming, partly based on the game itself and partly on the filenames of the tracks on the disc.

If you're interested in more Rayman music, please visit RayTunes (http://raytunes.raymanpc.com/)! It has a very complete collection of Rayman music both in lossless and lossy format. You can play the full collection of music on the site itself and download archives as well as individual tracks. I put great care into making both the gamerips and the site itself, so I hope you enjoy my work! :)

Many thanks for this, pal.

edit : I'm not complaining, considering how complete this rip is (and the others I'm about to snatch). I just have a little question.
Was the music already at 22 Khz or did the ripper lose some quality during the ripping process?

Again, thanks for sharing.

You're welcome :)
Both the FLAC and MP3 versions of this rip are 44khz though. If you're talking about the Rayman 2 rip, that one is 22khz like you say - and that's the highest quality you can get. The Playstation 2, Dreamcast, PC, iOS versions use that. Only the (far less complete) Playstation 1 version of Rayman 2 has better quality than 22khz (37.8 and 44khz there). I'll put those abridged versions of the tracks online later as a separate rip. ;)

You're right. I was talking about Rayman 2 (my bad).
Thanks for the explanation.

As I'm looking for the PS1 version of the rip, I'd be right in assuming that the non-PS1 tracks on this are just exactly the same on the PS1 as they were on the PC, effectively making this the complete PS1 rip...?

This one is ripped completely from PS1. The music in the PS1 version is exactly the same as the other versions though (except that there are more tracks in the PS1 version). ;)

In May this year I fully overhauled my Rayman music website, RayTunes (http://raytunes.raymanpc.com/), with updates to nearly all rips as well as entirely new soundtracks. The site also received a major upgrade, as you can now play the full collection of music (which is huge!) on the site itself and download MP3 & FLAC archives as well as individual tracks.

I realized I should probably update all of the Rayman music topics I've created here with the new rips, but since there's so many I'll just update one every few days or so -- to not spam FFShrine with Rayman music. :p

This particular rip was updated with a few extra tracks from a recently discovered prototype, much better track names, tags and covers.
I've updated the first post with links to the new version of the rip -- I hope you enjoy my work. :)
