It is incredible how much talent and love has been poured into this score, for an obscure Polish animated feature that never even got a soundtrack release until Korzeniowski made it big in Hollywood. A huge kudos has to be given to the folks at La La Land for taking a chance on releasing this score, because I certainly don't want to think of a world where a score as amazing as this is left to fade into obscurity. Powerful and poignant while also lush and sincere, Copernicus Star is a beautiful score, the best aspect for me being its masterful transitioning from playful innocence to quasi-religious fanfares and back again. I can clearly imagine in my head a journey a character could take just through the music and cue titles alone. What an incredible, hidden gem.
