This is the soundtrack to the film documentary "The Matrix Revisited", which released in 2001. The soundtrack itself was originally presented as an easter egg within the DVD release and eventually as a full-fledged audio extra in the Blu-ray release of "The Matrix" film. There are 41 tracks in all, properly tagged and numbered with an mp3 quality of 320 Kbps.

I can make this available, but uploading them in mp3 will only degrade the original AC3-file which is lossy to start with. Your choice:

FLAC - as good as the original, but not "true" lossless - 950 MB
MP3 (320) - degraded quality compared to the original - 432 MB
Also just mentioning that these are only song tracks, as you can see in the tracklisting. It has nothing to do with the musical score by Davis (and others)Tracklist:

1. Aleks Svaensson - Syvelleve (5:39)
2. da.nu.lo - I'm Not Right (Im What's Left) (4:10)
3. Gooding - Licorice and Grape Kool Aid (3:05)
4. Jetsetmusic - Last Laugh Foundation Part C (3:23)
5. Obadia - Lounge (2:07)
6. Obadia - Slowride (4:33)
7. Omniverse - Hipshot (3:30)
8. The Fur Ones - Semicolon (2:06)
9. Robert Phoenix - Speedy Astronaut (4:54)
10. Canton - Birmingham, 43 (6:20)
11. Electrostatic - Electron Gun (4:41)
12. Ikarus - Praying to Different Gods (4:56)
13. Nolens Volens - Por Sea T (10:01)
14. Out of Body - Beyond Mind (4:24)
15. Paul Cooper - CEM2 New Stuff (6:07)
16. Proactive Noize Transmission - One Foot Freek (4:48)
17. Project 3 - Go Get It (4:03)
18. VOID - Chemical 2000 (5:29)
19. Audible Ink - Sand Turtle (3:52)
20. O.R.G. - Sofa Surfur (5:50)
21. Simulacra - Spy vs Spy (4:51)
22. Wade R - Squarely in the Groove (3:43)
23. Audible Ink - Beetle Instrumental (2:30)
24. Beet T Tribe - Beet T Tribe (slight return) (2:56)
25. Fingertwister - 7 A.M. Disaster (4:10)
26. Hardknox - Coz I Can (5:07)
27. Aleks Svaensson - Art of Recycling (5:06)
28. Canton - Blue Groove (8:50)
29. Fingertwister - Casino Royale (3:57)
30. Aleks Svaensson - Sunny (4:56)
31. Fingertwister - In Memory of... (5:37)
32. Less Skill - Technical Difficulties (3:05)
33. Simulacra - Panacea (6:36)
34. Fingertwister - The Reverend Will Return (6:24)
35. O.R.G. - Traveling Man (4:26)
36. Project 3 - The Search (7:15)
37. Tripnotic - Tripnofunk (5:40)
38. The Fur Ones - Transit (0:56)
39. The Fur Ones - Product (2:17)
40. The Fur Ones - The End (2:19)
41. The Fur Ones - Reduction (3:55)

Total Time: 3:08:34 (yep, that's 3 hours 8 minutes and 34 secs)
And the original file is an AC3, 48 kHz, 2.0 ch, 192 kbps.

Two replies like that and not one of you tells me what you would prefer! This will be quite a lot of MBs to upload and i will not do it for fun! nah it's 320kbps

Not at all understanding my question.

It wasn't really an "easter egg" as you can select it in the special features of the DVD.
Also has a commentary by Don Davis.

The original audio on the DVD was in AC3@192 in 2.0. Also the BD didn't get an upgrade; it got the exact same track in the exact same features.
It's only 320 since you converted it from AC3@192 to MP3@320.

And the original file is an AC3, 48 kHz, 2.0 ch, 192 kbps.

:this: See?

I did have an old rip of this long time ago when I first got the DVD.
Made three albums:
1) Score only
2) Commentary only
3) score+commentary

Did the same for Rush Hour 1 and The Corruptor.
The commentaries are quite nice to go with everything. You gain a lot of perspective.

Sparktank, I understand that the original file format on the DVD is AC3 192 kbps (therefore impossible to convert to MP3 320 or FLAC), but it seemed like Calidoran had procured 320 kbps versions of the album through a different method.

On the other hand, Sparktank, if you've got the Matrix Revisited soundtrack with those 44 tracks in any sort of format (and you'd be willing to upload it), I would be incredibly appreciative! That and even the commentaries? I've tried to rip them myself but I'm new at this and can't seem to get it down right.

... seems bishtyboshty solved the problem. And FYI, it's not impossible to convert. What i would have uploaded would have been a transcode from the original DVDs AC3-track and nothing else. So whatever you think you're getting here, it's still a transcode from the original lossy AC3. NOT a 320 MP3. And a FLAC version would just have been an exact copy of that original lossy AC3.

pkmnbandman303
07-07-2013, 03:43 AM
That's the one right there! Perfect perfect! Thank you so, so much! +1'd

And Calidoran I realized that's what you meant. Theoretically you can convert a file that is originally lossy into a "lossless" file format or something higher, but the loss is still there. It doesn't magically become a higher quality just because there's the 320 number in the bitrate. Other than that, thank you so so much!

Boriar
07-07-2013, 08:36 AM
Please Calidoran, can you upload the flac version. I would be very grateful

Calidoran

So you want me to go dig out the DVD, rip the AC3 track from it, split the resulting file into 41 tracks, convert it to FLAC, pack it into RAR-files which will be 950 MBs and then upload it to a host which probably will have it deleted within a month? Will you be the one uploading new links when people come asking for it when it's gone? I will not be saving any of these files because i have absolutely no interest in them.

I don't have the FLAC files. I would have to go through that entire procedure just to make them available and it's a good couple of hours of work with something that i don't want, just to make them in a marginally better quality for you. It still will not be lossless, so i suggest you get the 320 version here and transcode it to flac yourself if that's so important.

EDIT: For those of you getting the 320 version or wanting the FLAC version - The original files app. equals MP3s in the bitrate of 192 and the quality will NEVER get any better than that (FLAC) and perhaps even a little bit worse (MP3)

What happen with you?

FIRST, YOU POST THAT:

That was november 17th, 2012. Almost 8 months ago...

THEN, YOU ANSWER TO TWO PEOPLE OFFENDED LIKE THIS:

I was offended, yes. Because i have more than once uploaded stuff (lots of it) without much gratitude from those downloading. Here i was offering to go through the procedure which you so eloquently call "the story of your life". And they totaly ignored my offer, so i decided to use those hours better and never made the rip and conversion to flac. And so i never had the files available.

AND NOW, YOU BLAME BECAUSE I ASK YOU CORDIALLY TO UPLOAD WHAT YOU OFFERED IN FIRST PLACE!!!

Yes, thank you for asking cordially. Not many do that. That's why i thought it would be equally cordial to explain WHY i wouldn't do it, here: http://forums.ffshrine.org/f92/matrix-revisited-original-soundtrack-320-kbps-94982/3.html#post2390198

Apparently (as always) it's so easy to get misunderstood unless you use LOTS of smilies (which i am bad at). If you were offended by my explanation, so be it...

The fact still remains though, you will never get any better quality than 192 which is why i informed you that you might as well get the 320 version which is now available thanks to bishtyboshty. Barely noticable quality loss, but less than half the size.

Come on boy!

If you don't want upload it, well no problem but don't tell me the story of your life:

Been a long time since i was a "boy" so i guess the story of my life contains a little more info than that... ;)

Bottom line: This matter is closed as far as i'm concerned. I will not upload a flac version. Perhaps someone else will? I'm sure there are quite a few that have the DVD or the BluRay.

And to Boriar: Have a nice summer :) i will try to use more smilies to really make people avoid misunderstanding me

Boriar
