If anyone needs help in the land of Xenogears, please give me a hollar. You may want to play before indulging in Xenosaga, so you get an idea of what it's all like... Keep in my mind I haven't played Xenosaga yet, even though I own it...

So Guru, are we allowed to ask story elements and your opinion (which will yeild spoilers), or like how do I beat this boss or pass this dungeon sort of questions?

okay...... when you find the second yggdrasil (with bart and the others) right after you got rescued by the thames... you have to fight miang and the guy (can't remember his name) underwater.... miang has her gear, and the guy is in a pink/white fish looking gear... how do you go about beating them. everytime i get his HP low... i'm down to just fei, (elly and is it bart or citan that's with you...... are ko'ed...) and then he usues that attack ofhis, and it wipes me out in one go! how do i go about beating those two? because i'm having some major troubles with it... :(

Yeah the fight with Ramus and Miang was hard as hell. I remember I barely made it out alive with everyone dead but Bart and then Bart wailed on him for the kill.

I woudl use booster on everybody, and used attack level 2s or 3s. Only refuel if absolutely needed. Also, you can use Elly's aerod attack as well. That takes like 400-500 off.

Also, if I remember correctly, use Bart's Wild Smile attack to decrease his accuracy...

is it true that some cut sceens run up to about 40 or more minutes?

That I'm unsure of, because I don't have much in the way of cut screens. However, I do know the longest I've seen is along the 30 minute mark...

Would it affect it much if I equiped all the gears from Big Joe's hidden shop. Cuz I'm running around getting money very slowly.

Assuming you're talking about the one in the Lighthouse, yes it would. The ZGold100 armors are absolutely awesome, and much better than the RX Metal 70s and 80s. Also, invest in finding a few other goodies, such as Tank Guards, Z Chargers, and Anti-Angel Sys type armors as well to add to it. Frame HPs are fairly effective too. Get your level probably between 70 and 75 and the game should be easy to beat, but yes, if you do make enough moolah to get the zgold100 armor, buy it for everyone that you can.

Where would be a good place to get some money. Cuz I am gettin shit in the way of money.

Either fight around in Deus, or fight outside of Deus. As far as I know, those are the hardest regular monsters to fight, and would give you the best experience and cash, but as we well know, cash is kinda hard to come by in this game. It isn't all that generous with money flow.

Why shouldn't it be? I think Xenogears should be a bigger part of the site, but it's not, so I figured I'd promote it. I don't think it's hurting anything...

What is the difference between any other game and xenogears? Diablo 2 is an RPG. It's widely played.

Really, just using D2 as an example, but you could theoretically do this with every RPG ever made, cause I'm sure someone has played it, and knows quite a bit about it.

Just a thought...

Something more like the chrono or lunar series would be more apt to fit that than D2. I don't know that i'd call D2 an RPG. More like online adventure, kinda like EQ or DAoC.
