Wow this game was very hard/time consuming to rip and i had to do alot of redos and it was just a complete pain extracting and parsing everything out of eido's bigfile, another thing is the 360 version did not use fsb so therefore i couldn't get the tracknames leaving me to deal with the ps3 version which uses fsb mp3, so i copied over the names to the demuxed MUL XMA's, Also extracted the Cinematic music which was a real pain as well. Since now there is no real working extractor for eidos bigfiles which has deus ex support, even the bms script i posted couldn't deal with the console versions. Anyway this score is plain awesome! Michael McCann did it again!! ;) Layered music as well so did some mixes. Barnaby you will thank me, Saved you quite a bit of headaches here. :)

I have one question though :) Did you insert all the fadeouts at the end of the songs or were they already there? Because I could work a lot better without all the fadeouts. I was going to make full themes, ambient at the beginning then stress and then combat.

Well, you could just checked it up in the net. Besides, the rips are always moar complete than the official releases. I doubt that this have anything to do with autism.

Its pretty obvious looking at the file size and the number of tracks and my description that this isn't the ost.

P.S Which song contains the UNATCO Theme as seen in the intro scene? Basically, a CLEAN version of 168 - CUT_01_SHQ0_Elevator_Scene.flac. Without the SFX and background noise. Is this possible at all? Or is it all one layered audio rip?

It's quite a shame, but it seems that the SFX were mixed in with the UNATCO theme. It's quite a shame, really, as the rendition of the UNATCO theme was a terrific throwback.

it's possible but with the post-editing. I mean cutscene audiostreams are mixed with sfx (while ingame music not), so you have to filter/edit/Equalize/etc. such files manually and it's a real pain in the ass. :)

I registered solely to grab this - I appreciate the monumental effort but I guess we all felt left out with the reduced selection offered as the soundtrack of the collectors edition, I wanted every teensy little bit of the music because it is all just too great.

If I get the chance for a MF account I can reup hopefully. I can't remember who's version it is, just know its all in FLAC and 2.06gb in size.

With my current laptop it would literally take 2 days to upload. -__-

Ok, I have finished ripping the music from the game.
The process is simple but terribly time consuming.

I made a couple of dirty scripts to automate the process but even then it was annoying.

The result is 1,21 gb in 200 flacs worth of music and ambience sounds. I haven't taken the time to filter those out.

The original fsbs contains single channel mp3s with different music tensions where available, two channels per grade (to form stereo sounds). These mp3s are encoded at 96 kbits (remember they are single channel) and plays perfectly using vgmstream or a normal player once demuxed. I say this so you don't go overboard with the bitrate with mp3, aac or ogg...

Enough chatter, I have bandwidth to spare for uploading the file but not that much time to police the availability of the uploads.

How do you recommend to upload these?

In the meantime I'll work on the missing link ones...

Alright, here is the Deus Ex: Human Revolution VGM and Missing Link VGM. No ambience tracks.

If you only want the missing link tracks, just download the two last files, you should be able to extract the missing link tracks.

As said, these are encoded in FLAC to avoid losing any more quality from the original mp3.

I'm using zippyshare because mediafire requires to register and is on a crackdown spree apparently. Rapidshare simply sucks HARD, and most others are just as awful:

The tracks contains no tagging, and the naming convention is as provided by the game as the file name in human revolution, as the internal name (that get cut if longer than 30 or so characters) in missing link.

I will probably delete the flacs as it is a waste of space considering these tracks where originally encoded in mp3 and reencode it to ogg or something, so I may not be able to upload again if these files become inactive.

I have one question though :) Did you insert all the fadeouts at the end of the songs or were they already there? Because I could work a lot better without all the fadeouts. I was going to make full themes, ambient at the beginning then stress and then combat.

I added the fadeouts. You can always delete them as well.

Bro,yes you can delete,ofc...but will never be the same as original.Exact as original never can be after added fadeout.Think about milliseconds.You fail on this rip so hard.Other rip's maybe was better but this,really sucks.No offense but next time do not add fadeout for loops.Maybe someone like me need mixing together as in game.Really fadeouts make me nervouse right now because i don t have time to do my own rip and i love so much your rip.
