Other than that, this version also contains clean versions of what was featured on the commercial release, without all of the crossfades and post-production changes (the commercial album doesn't feature the film versions of the cues--this does).

Agreed. I don't understand the hatred, either. I actually think it's my favorite score of Zimmer's, along with Inception and The Thin Red Line.

I'm so thankful that we finally have an expanded version of the score that is clean and free of SFX and those idiotic crossfades Zimmer layered into the soundtrack.

I really have no idea right now. Almost all the places I know of were using Megaupload, and now it's gone, most sites have huge amounts of dead links, including the Shrine here. It may take a while. Several other hosting sites are restricting access or are off-line, and users are skittish.

Long time ago I listened to this, did they used some of the singing from Gladiator in the track Injection?

Liked that score, I thought it set the right mood for the film, way dramatic for some reasons (that injection and shooting scenes with slow motion were thrilling - yikes, Ethan had to leave his big love infected, the music works perfect here) and sometimes pretty cool anyhow.

I'll say this: the 27 track version isn't the true film version.

While certain tracks match for the most part, there are a lot of edits made that still are exclusive within the film ("Stamp Dies" first half of build up is replaced by a bunch of beats, "Seville" lacks a lot of the vocals, "Injection" ends on an vocal earlier in the cue, etc.).

Hell, this set has edits closer to the film, though others are the same as in the 27 track version (making your claim that this set has better renditions all the more confusing).

Having heard closely to the film, making a film mix won't be perfect, but it's manageable to a certain degree.
